By comparing 2 guys who have yet to take an NFL snap, to a hall of famer and future hall of famer? YES!

I have watched Murray for years, I think he has the potential to be a good QB in the NFL. That said, coming off an ACL and being undersized (6'1" 210) I wouldn't draft him any earlier than the fifth round. Maybe one of our later fourths since we have two or three. I may be a fan of Johnny Football at #3 overall, but I believe his playmaking abilities and intangibles are way way better than Murray even if they are similarly sized.

 

If the Jags don't take Bridgewater/Manziel in the first, I'd personally like to see them take a guy like Garoppolo in the second/third and also pick up a guy like Murray or Shaw even in the later rounds. Shaw and Murray are both undersized guys who have some ability, I'm just not totally sold either of them could produce at an NFL level. Garoppolo seems like the darkhorse in this draft IMO. 

 

Murray is fun to watch though, I watched him every year he's been at Georgia.

And I dont see why if people look at draft breakdown and watch all the qbs video.   Murray looks as good if not better then the  top ones.

Your sleeping on Murray, He is easily the most polished and NFL SEC passer

 

Negatives for me are telegraphed throws and the occasional mechanical breakdowns that can be fixed

Cause be nice to have a real qb.   Bridgewater is one hit away from injury.    Bortles does not impress me.  Locks onto receiver throws dinks.   Johnny Football is decent but way over hyped.   Carr level of competition worries me.   And it helps endorsed by Dungy who got to see manning all them years.    And i believe he knows qbs more then any of ous do.    His super quick release will help out in Nfl as well.

You mean like that really big hit that he took in the Sugar Bowl two years ago that left a scar on his face? Also, you need to check Murray's medical record before claiming another QB as a potential injury prone.

Oh get over it. Any QB is one hit away from injury, I don't buy that bull one bit. If Bridgewaters' light frame is the only negative people can find on Teddy, then that should say everything they need to know about how good he is.

 

With that said, I'll take Murray all day, but not anytime before the 4th round considering he may not even be ready to practice by time the season starts.
