Jadeveon Clowney

Makes me excited that we have Bradley
me too. Even though DC said he wasn't looking at a safety. I like Keith McGill or Jean Batsite in the later rounds, hopefully they can be our Sherman. Regardless, if we get Clowney or Bridgewater... this game does excite me for the future.

This game is making me want Clowney or Barr....

Barr is garbage

If we go defense its Clowney

But its ultimately about how good your scouting department is, only 1st rounder on that backend for Seattle is Earl Thomas

He was a 14th overall pick

Thomas is an all pro but Kam is just as important and I believe he was a 6th rounder. What I do see and I believe Gus can do is get the most out of his players.

The only safety I like in this draft is Pryor and he won't make it to 39

You can find guys in the later rounds

Calvin is a monster but he won't last till the 2nd

Earl Thomas incarnate

You can't just give Thomas all the credit though . Every player on this defense feeds off each other and makes each other better. The one thing they do have in common is they are all big and fast. The jaguars need speed in general.

If anyone is close to Earl Thomas its Jimmie Ward by far

Clowney and Hardy (FA)  and I wouldn't worry as much about Andrew Luck or Teddy (if the Texans get him)

Hardy will want too much money

I'll take Clowney if Bridgewater is not available

For me, best case is either Clowney or Manziel.

Ward is close too, will be a very good safety

Actually I've watched a great deal of his and the other QBs tape. He's the best, or second, depending on what you're looking for.

???

1. Bridgewater

2. Fales

3, Murray

4. Jimmy G

All are better off that bat

Only time you get Manziel is if you wish to draft Winston in 2 years

We don't have a veteran for Manziel to sit behind

Starting him would be a disaster

At best, Manziel is Russell Wilson... and Wilson wouldn't be winning anything w/o Seattles defense.  I wouldn't want Manziel unless he was in the 2nd round, and thank god he won't make it that far.

Watch tape of Brett Smith.

For all of the Manziel lovers, watch Smith and he'll do what your guy can and can be had probably in the 4th round.

Keep in mind Wilson was a much more polished passer coming out of school with a stronger arm

Manziel is a very faster but very poor man's Wilson

Nope, Nope and Nope

I understand this sentiment, but it's flawed IMO. Wilson is a good but not great quarterback, a game manager. Manziel is a playmaker. He'll either be great or terrible. But Wilson? No.

Troy Aikman called Wilson a playmaker...

At best... the very best... Manziel will be RG3 or Vick... who were both figured out after their first year.  This is the NFL.  Mobile QBs only succeed in college because they're playing college players.  Yes, Manziel played Alabama... but theres a difference b/t Alabama and even the Jaguars defense.  When Manziel can't run, you really wanna see Manziel drop back and pass 30 times?
