Jadeveon Clowney

Quote:At best... the very best... Manziel will be RG3 or Vick... who were both figured out after their first year.  This is the NFL.  Mobile QBs only succeed in college because they're playing college players.  Yes, Manziel played Alabama... but theres a difference b/t Alabama and even the Jaguars defense.  When Manziel can't run, you really wanna see Manziel drop back and pass 30 times?
I don't even think he could be as impactful as Vick on the ground, remember Vick had freak speed with a freak arm

If Manziel is going to be impactful at the next level he needs to be with his arm

Bridgewater gives you everything Manziel does but much more controlled and can do much more

Oh I agree.  I'm just saying best case scenario.  Manziel is no where his size, but just trying to let everyone know who is in love with Manziel... that all mobile QBs get solved.  I'll settle for the classic drop back QB that will last 10 years if he's any good

A qb with mobility is always nice but I like Bridgewater's mobility the best.

He sticks to the pocket, manipulates it and if ALL else fails he runs

Thats how you beat teams like Seattle

The Manziel overrating is very similar to the worshiping of the Golden Calf of Bristol

I wouldn't say that's how you beat Seattle.  Kaep really only had one good game against Seattle and he still threw 2 picks in that game.

Problem is Kaep is a one read and checkdown/run

Bridgewater is a better qb than Kaep

And with the YAC wrs we have and Bridgewaters ability to roll out of the pocket either way and hit wrs in stride and throw them in space

And that is just a small part of his game

Peyton's lack of arm strength and mobility hurts him against a team like this

Its obvious to anybody with a football brain

So Peyton's lack of arm strength and mobility had one of the best QB seasons ever and now it's his weakness?  Seattles defense is just good.  Peyton Manning was the best QB this season.  He will be better than Bridgewater for atleast the next 3 years and will still lose to this Seahawks team.  Defenses will always championships... even in this QB league

Denver had a soft schedule throughout the year

Its clear the AFC is overrated

If you noticed, Manning can't drive the ball downfield anymore....

Also when Seattle blanket covers the receivers and close with the rush Manning can't escape it to buy his receivers time

yes Denver would probably lose to the Panthers, but it doesn't mean that Manning wasn' t the best QB this year.  It just furthers my point Clowney > Bridgewater.  49ers over GB in GB.  Seahawks all over Manning, Brees, and Brady.

Let me throw Seahawks over Matt Ryan too... even though you know I feel that he's just an average QB.

Seattle built their team through the middle rounds

Its called a good personnel department

People think these defenses grow on trees lol

I never said it grow on trees did I?  It was building their team on both sides of the line.  It was spending high picks on DL or OL or defensive playmakers.  It was waiting for a QB later in the draft.

The draft doesn't lie.  Look at the Rams, Lions, Panthers.  You only have one team that is somewhat successful and that's because of their line and D is catching up.  You do have the Colts, but their division is horrendous.  Look at the Titans, Jaguars, Vikings, etc.... failed 1st round QB picks.  Yes, some were reaches.. some were suppose to be good.  Newton, Bradford, Stafford, RG3, etc.

I mean Bridgewater is worth it at 3, but the Jaguars aren't ready for a QB yet.  Bridgewater, unless he is very resilant, will get destroyed next year.  He's gonna lose more games in one year, then his career.

Wonder if this win propels Clowney to #1.
