Chip Kelly

Don't look so happy anymore.  Denver is putting a whooping on the Eagles.  Someone speculated on here before that it wouldn't take long for other teams to figure out Kelly's gimmicky plays.  It appears there may be some merit to that.

And Kelly's Offense plays right into Denver's hand. If you're going to put your offense into warp speed vs. Manning and Co., you had better make sure you score points when you do. Otherwise, you're just going to wear out your own Defense.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

That first half against Washington seems like a long time ago

I agree with the general sentiments of this thread, but we also need to slow down. Remember, Philly is also a rebuilding team (though they started in a better spot then we did). On top of that, the NFL is about making adjustments. I am interested to see if/how Chip changes it up offensively as the year goes on.

The loss of Jeremy Maclin was huge for that offense and they're struggling to overcome it. They just don't have the players to take attention away from Jackson. Plus the defense is a mess. Realistically though, they are very much alive to win what is a terrible division.

its a new offense adjusting to nfl level defenses. i'll give it a year. but that defense though. embarrassing.

Wasn't a certain negative nancy whiney poster screaming like a 'mad dog' how chip kelley was the next king of football and must be brought to the Jags?

It will be interesting to see how the Redskins respond on Defense when the two teams play against each other in Philadelphia later this season.       Even with the Redskins struggles on Defense in a couple of other games,    they should be much more prepared to deal with the Eagles Offense later this season.

The bottom line for this season is both teams are fortunate to be in the NFC East.        The way things are looking now,   the division winner will have 8 or 9 wins at the end of the season.    With a 7-9 record for the division winner not out of the question..     It's yet another illustration why the NFL would be insane to expand the playoffs.

Chip Kelly is just another Steve Spurrier.  He's in way over his head with his "high tempo offense".   I bet that he will leave the Eagles for the head coaching job in either Texas or USC.

This is exactly backwards, offenses succeed while they are new. Once the DCs get some tape it's all over.

tell that to gabbert and his 3 OC lol.  it seems like they only needed the tape of the washington game to figure it out, plus im sure the DCs knows he coached at Oregon recently  :whistling:

You could see that coming a mile away.

He had to leave Oregon before his scandals caught up with him.

It's the defenses that catch on to the gimmicks. Not the other way around.

I called this after the 'Skins game.  They had no business being in that one at the end.  Kelly's offense is a gimmick, and it won't work against good teams.

I think the Redskins will handle the Eagles the next time they play.  They're still my pick to win the NFC East.  RG3 is getting healthy.

I just think the teams not very good.

Do people realize that the Eagles basically have ONE good WR on the entire roster right now?.....and he's a midget....

I'm not writing Kelly off after 4 games, considering that.

This Eagles roster needs help, on both sides of the ball.

I expected somewhere around 5-6 wins in Kelly's first season in Philly. They are still on track for that.

But you are writing Bradley and co after the first 4 games in Jacksonville? The Eagles roster needs help? Look at the Jags.

TMD how tall are you? Because you've called players midgets a handful of times

I bet it has nothing to do with his height. And everything to do with him being so insecure with himself that he feels the need to denegrate everyone somehow.
