FBT's Pickem

I switched both of my Sunday picks to the underdogs late last night.   Hmmm.....    Too much liquid courage?  Or can the Panthers and Chargers do this?

edit:  it was definitely liquid courage, LOL

Should be in first by more. Changed my pick to New England on a 'gut instinct' before I left for Clearwater for the weekend.

Maybe the gut instinct was just indigestion.

Congratulations, Rico on winning the Contest!   Tremendous job in securing the Championship!

TJF,  congrats on finishing in 2nd place.

Picking against Denver in their games against San Diego and New England cost me in my attempt to win the contest.  I also originally had Denver but went with New England.

Today though,  after coming close to changing my mind about the Super Bowl,  I decided to stay with Seattle.   As great of a QB as Peyton Manning is,  I wasn't sold on his pass protection against the deep and talented Seahawks Defensive Line.    The medical clearance of Percy Harvin was the icing on the cake to stick with Seattle.  I saw enough of Harvin from his Minnesota days to recall how capable he is of impacting a game in multiple ways.   Having said this,  I expected a very close game.    This Super Bowl reminded me of many of the Super Bowls of the 1980's in terms of it being a one sided game.

Congrats, Rico.

After falling as far as 26th during the season, I was pleased to rebound.  The playoffs were good to me.  I had to gamble with the Super Bowl, and it didn't pan out, but still, a top 5 finish was satisfying.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Hey, I thought I was toast about week 5...I think. Can't remember exactly when. Then I went on an incredible midseason run...then held on for dear life after that.
