Well, let's just say that the current draftniks (the real ones not the facades like Kiper) say Luck is the best QB prospect to come into the NFL since Peyton...and TeddyB is second for most of them. He's higher rated than Bradford, Cam, Rodgers, Alex Smith, Stafford, etc.

Teddy Bridgewater reminds me of Aaron Rodgers, the arm strength, accuracy, willingness to test vertically, the ability to throw guys open, the pocket presence and poise while keeping their eyes downfield. He has a legitimate chance to be a top 5 QB in the league.

Step 1: Sign QB who looks just like Teddy B with helmet and pads on.

 

Step 2: Bradley calls Teddy b and devises plan to get him some game XP early and on the sly.

 

Step 3: Have Teddy B practice with the 1s under the guise of the random QB look a like. Never remove the helmet at practice and no autographs or interviews.

 

step 4: Bradley annouces new starting QB for the week as Gabbert is "injured" and Henne isnt what the team is looking for.

 

Step 5: Watch Teddy B shred the rams secondary with Blackmon,Shorts behind the same o-line and inept running attack to the tune of 350 and 3 tds.

 

I honestly believe he could walk right in and start right now with little to no practice and blow Gahenne out of the water. No week of prep, no nothing just hand him the play book and tell Fisch to sit n the corner while the big people are talking.

After the current era of QBs retire (Brees,Brady,Manning) I think Teddy will be in the top 5. I see the order being

 

1.) Rodgers

2.) Luck

3.) Wilson

4.) Teddy

5.) Ryan

 

His floor IMO is top 12 ceiling could be number 1.

 

Like people have said hes the 2nd best prospect since Manning.

"Ceiling" can vary as a projection, anyway. If Teddy literally achieves his very best scenario, he can be a Hall-of-Famer. A top-five passer through 2025 or so and being a perennial Pro-Bowler is probably what should be expected out of him.

A combination of elite character, arm talent, maturity, football IQ, and pocket presence.

I beg anyone to find any real hits on Bridgewater's game other than the conference he plays in. Seriously. I mentioned this in the other thread and I am still waiting.

 

He had a tiny "sort of" complaint about his footwork last season. He spent the offseason boxing and now that isn't even a knock anyone attempts to make.

If Caldwell isn't convinced that he's at least at that level then he's not worth the #1 overall pick that the Jaguars look likely to get.

 

Everyone here seems to think he is, though. I've never seen the guy play so I just take everyone's word for it.
