Due to his shoulder issue, out for the remainder of the season. This means he has finished the regular season on IR for second straight year. Corresponding move is that we have promoted CB Tae Hayes to the active roster.

I feel bad for the guy. We really need Westbrook to stay healthy.

I can attest to this having had surgery on both shoulders for different reasons. I feel bad for him. Class act and solid teammate/WR.

Sucks for him, big time. But looking at it from the Jags perspective, we don't lost a whole lot. He's barely played this year and the WR group is doing fairly well. Wish him the best and hope he can get healthy.

He might still have a future in the NFL if he can get healthy.
But IMO he should call it quits. He has pocketed over $25 mil so far in a career derailed by injuries.
His salary this year was over $7 mil with a $9mil cap hit.
I don't expect to see him return as a Jaguar, but you never know.

Got nothing personal against the fella at all. He can't help it that he has the worst luck with injuries. If he plays for another team next year or something I'd be happy for him.

That said, it's a business. Can't be paying a dude to play football when he rarely can stay on the field. It's time for the Jags to move on.

He'll pop up elsewhere next year. He's good enough when healthy, he's just had a terrible time staying healthy.

I personally feel that Lee could've played surpassed the bye-week. Even a week or two later but the Jaguars probably felt the need to protect Taye Hayes by signing him to the 53-Man roster. We have true depth at the WR position and now we have depth at the DB position as well.

Lee wasn't replaced by a WR for a reason.

That is the problem.  It's rare he is healthy.
