I think people need to put down the peace crack pipe and think about this.....for the first time in forever we have two solid quarterbacks at our disposal. And it was an accident. An improbability of epic proportions. Why in the actual hell would we give that up? 

Yeah they both have their pros and cons, but man this is a good 'problem' to have!

Problem there is, most teams have their QB situations settled.

Actually, because the CBA expires after the 2020 season, I'm pretty sure I read that there is no post June 2020 cap splits and that expected incentives on contracts would take affect in the 2020 season instead of the next season like they normally do.

I've been trying to drive this home. ^

We have luxury at QB right now. It is a good thing. We don't need to move Foles until either after 2020 - (or if really rich trade offer comes along prior to next year's deadline)

Having a guy like Foles on the bench sure proved valuable for the eagles. Let's enjoy being able to overpay for that for a minute. We have plenty of ways to clear cap if we need to do so.

As they said, I dont understand this thought process.  Even with Foles we still dont have a ton of money tied up in that position compared to a lot of other teams.  We dont  need to get rid of Foles at the end of the season and I dont think we do.  Feels great to have 2 really good players at the most important position. Foles is one of the best QBs to learn from as well, let Minshew learn from this guy and we have the best back up in the league.
