The jags should have known what they were getting in Foles and never paid him.

Undecided

Continuing to support and follow/watch a Franchise that has 1 winning season per decade can most definitely bring out the grumpiness in all of us.

I've grown numb to it.

I value entertaining games. Even if we don’t make the playoffs, I would love to watch more competitive games than what we have had for 3 weeks now. This is like watching toddlers get beat up by high schoolers.

I'd be lying if I said I was TOTALLY numb to it.  I just wait for the opposing team to rip off their first long run and before I get really perturbed.  I look for Ronald Jones to have a career day this week.

Hopefully we can pull a seventh round pick out of Foles. One of many reasons they should have never played Foles. By the time they put Minshew back in they'll have diminished whatever equity matchsticks had pre injury

To be fair, lots of outsiders not even fully educated on all things Jaguars were on the Foles Booster Train. Many of my friends back home who are Colts fans conceded the AFC South to us right after the signing. They bought in too.

Oh I don't think he'll be showing his face around here any time soon.

I'm confused. Where are all the people to defend Foles? You know, the ones who were all about cutting Bortles and replacing him with anyone? Probably the same ones who were calling to cut Minshew based on his lack of preseason production and replace him with anyone too. Why aren't those people in here defending the decision to cut Bortles and replace him with the indisputable top free agent veteran QB?

Guess they're probably in another thread calling for us to cut someone else...

I think the hate for Foles is a little over the top. Sometimes comically so. I attribute it to equal parts venting and maybe some unrealistic expectations. He's a better QB than Bortles but he's not a top 10 QB and especially when coming back after not having played in more than a year with a new team, there's going to be some rust and mis-fires. The season is down the drain right now but I suspect Foles play will start to tighten up as he gets his timing and comfort with his teammates back.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Foles will light it up in the last few games to ruin next season too.

In true Jaguars fashion, Nick Foles will have a couple of incredible games, (I’m talking 2012 Chad Henne in Houston level) and the Jags will ruin The chance to have a franchise QB in Minshew.

My wife is an Eagles fan. She assured me this was a TERRIBLE decision when it was made. *sigh* Why'd she have to be right.

I wanted to have hope that the contract would lead to some stability at teh QB position for Jacksonville. But with his injury history and this shaky Oline, I don't see Foles performing the same way he did in Philly.

The game is trending towards young mobile QBs with quick feet and the ability to extend plays. Gardner COULD be a part of that group, but it's hard to say. All I know is that this current 88 million dolalr contract is looking like a genuine mistake. I'd like to believe that maybe Foles will turn it around somehow...I just don't know how.

Did you shake his hand and tell him you're sorry this front office is incompetent?

I disagree that they should have known. Watching Nick throw in these games I can tell you for sure without hesitation that Nick Foles is a far superior passer than what we're seeing so far. Moreover, many of his passes are falling short of the mark. It's obvious to me that Nick hasn't fully rehabbed from his clavicle injury and was thrown out there too soon. The medical staff and his QB Coach should have been more on top of this.

They're 91% competent.

lol....wouldn't want to state the obvious. He seems like a genuine nice guy. Friendly. When I paid up, I wished luck in today's game.
