2014 College Football Playoff Pairups!

Quote:Most likely it was because he can come in and compete for a starting job immediately.

He is small for a QB. Is he a runner?

Not this year. Same position he would be in at FSU. Everything I have heard is Driskel is expected to be the starter.

Only thing I can think is he really wants to be a gator and doesn't care about competition.

Maybe he thinks Winston is going to stay for another season after this one.

God help the Gators if that happens.

Oh yeah, does anyone know why Coker doesn't have to sit out a year?

Quote:Big John, help a brother out. I know you are a Seminole fan, but let's get a few Gator updates in here.

I don't seem to have the type of fire power you do when it comes to getting information for recruiting.

Sorry man, I've been in class all morning so I've only had time to post quick updates. I'll be home in a few minutes so I'll update some Gator news too.

Isaiah McKenzie to Georgia. They offered him Monday and he never took a visit. .something is fishy about that one. And id have rather seen Dupree to FSU or CMS but happy for the guy. I just dislike LSU

Ok, nothing real huge on the Gator front this morning.

Treon Harris flipped from FSU to UF after being committed to FSU since July.

JC Jackson, who's recruitment has been the definition of a roller coaster, signed with UF this morning.

5* OT Damian Prince picked home state school Maryland over UF.

Later this afternoon, 5* ATH Adoree Jackson will decide between USC, UF, LSU, and UCLA. Track will play a big part in his decision, so IMO I have to think his choice would be UF, as they have a top five track program in the country. However, I'm sure there's a lot of pressure to stay home.

Was pretty bummed to hear about Prince.

I am hoping the Gators can get Jackson, but I just have a feeling he won't commit to UF.

No one try and check Rivals for the foreseeable future. Their servers have crashed because they're still running on Windows 95.

A lot of people pay a lot of money for Rivals. I'd be annoyed if I was a subscriber.

I pay $99 for my subscription. On all the days for them to be at their best, they're at their worst.

Simply amazing.

Three-star DB flips from Alabama to UCF
Martin Rickman: It's not often you read the phrase, "Alabama commit flips to UCF," but that's exactly what happened with three-star safety Chris Williams out of Kingsland, Ga. Williams' choice of schools was impressive -- in addition to the Crimson Tide, he also had scholarship offers from Ole Miss and Ohio State. But it seems that the Knights' Fiesta Bowl win is already paying dividends for coach George O'Leary.

This is not a huge loss for Alabama; the Tide always have an abundance of talented defensive backs, anyway. As for UCF, landing the 6-foot-2, sub-4.5 40-yard dash prospect is a great pickup.

From everything I've read, it seemed like he wasn't going to qualify for 'Bama. Think he'll be a great get for UCF.
