Staff & Front Office Speculation (merged)

I didn't read the entire thread and cut me a break if this is common knowledge but Oesher said today what I was wondering: both Caldwell's and Marrone's contracts run through 2021. I think that makes it more unlikely that they will be fired this week.

If there were one year left on each then no question but 2 years is different. I don't know how many years of the Dictator's contract they are eating but adding 4 more years to that brings it to a hefty number (I know it's probably chump change to Mr. Khan but he's not a chump).

Giving the boys one more year, then dumping them and Foles' contract all at once would be more financially palatable.

With four first round draft picks left for them to [BLEEP] up with?

Business is business. Caldwell and Marrone are bad for business. If this is Khan's logic.

He shouldn't own a football team.

I'm just confused...didn't Khan say last year that unless there was improvement (which from a record standpoint there wasn't), the organization wouldn't put up with that? (Or something to that degree)?

So why would he go against his word? If he does, I'm starting to lose faith in him as well now.
