Game day thread Jags/clots. **(Official)** Because I said so

Get us a Dareus level player for the Run D, some help for the back 7, and beef up the interior Oline. The QB is fine, WRs are fine, RBs looked ok, Tight End is an unknown. We need big bodies.

I'm glad that the team won. They ended the season on a good note and avenged that really ugly first loss to the Colts this season. I know that there are people who wish that the team would have "tried" to lose/tank. But the reality is players in general do not want to tank, even ones on struggling/bad teams. A lot of times they will play hard and somebody has got to win a game. I'm glad it was the Jags this time.
Also, I saw people on Twitter, say that it looks like Jags may get the ninth pick. That is still a top 10 draft pick, and the team has the Rams picks. I hope the team makes good choices, with wherever they end up picking, though there is no guarantee. I'll take this win/morale booster.

We should all meet up at the Wells Fargo to end our misery once and for all. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
Ok so if I’m doing my numbers right we should be at #7 pick if these 4 o’clock game hold on the way they should. Is that what everyone else is getting

Especially with all of the holes we have on this roster. Lower risk. Higher rewards. More cap friendly contracts the lower your picks are. If someone calls me looking for a top ten pick and they offer me a first round swap and a 2nd and 4th for it I am taking it. Would rather take my chances filling these holes on along the offensive line on the back end of RD1 while gaining more opportunities to take chances on some of these TE's built for today's NFL in the passing game or more LB depth. They just have to wait for trash day for it to be picked up. ![]() Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Difference between pick #5 and pick #9 is pretty significant. Would rather have had a close loss.

I remeber when this board was in a tizzy overthe Colts tanking for Luck and us getting 'meaningless' wins over them. Luck only played like what 5 comple seasons? We need to just do us and let it fall where it does. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! People failed to realize that a lot of Manning's presnap magic and audibles made that line look a whole lot better than what it really was. By the time they finally landed Nelson and Kelly and Castonzo started playing like a franchise LT the damage was done. I feel bad for that kid. He truly was talented. But his health is more important. All the more reason to let Minshew develop since he's shown he can somewhat handle playing behind this line and it allows you to gamble in 2021 on a much better prospect in Lawrence after Miami, L.A and Cincinnatti make their moves for Burrow, Tagovailoa and Herbert. You guys kvetching about draft pick slots must not have it figured out yet. Draft placement doesn't mean jack if we can't get a solid GM who knows what he's doing. It's possible DC was hamstrung by TC but Dave has been here longer than Tom was and doesn't explain Dave's early misses.
I'm hoping Khan cleans house but I have a feeling DC stays. Regardless, I'm glad we punched Indy in the mouth.
Read the writing on the wall...Caldwell and Marrone will be here in 2020. If they were being replaced, Shad would not be [BLEEP] around until midweek.
I told you jags would win this week. i said it in our pick em post.
