Quote:I would take Aaron Rodgers over Barry and RiceThats a big difference, Rodgers is a future Hall of Famer
Quote:I would take Aaron Rodgers over Barry and Rice Sorry to hear that. If I'm getting prime Barry Sanders and he still has the effectiveness he has today, I'm picking him up. The only reason the Lions didn't win multiple Super Bowls was because Barry had no one around him. EDIT: Actually, no, I probably wouldn't now that I think about it. Must be the beer talking. But still, Barry was not a human being.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
Barry is indeed special, but this is a different era of football. See Adrian Peterson. A franchise QB is above everything else. I'll take Matt Ryan over Barry in a heartbeat.
Quote:To me skipping the Senior Bowl isn't a big deal. Sorta like the Pro Bowl; it just isn't a serious football game. The Senior Bowl is not the same as the Pro Bowl. Yes, it's an exhibition game, but that entire week is very important for draft prospects. It's a chance for them to make an impression for their potential employers. Couple interesting Oesher tweets with Kiper:

He's convinced Johnny Manziel is consensus No. 1 QB in draft. <p class=""> <p class="">John Oehser@<b>JohnOehser</b><a class="" href='https://twitter.com/JohnOehser/status/431453523461832704' title="10:45 AM - 6 Feb 2014">18 mins</a> <p class="">Kiper says he would never, ever take a RB in first round. Doesn't think any go in first round this year. <p class=""> <p class="">John Oehser@<b>JohnOehser</b><a class="" href='https://twitter.com/JohnOehser/status/431453891600056320'>17 mins</a> <p class="">Kiper also said earlier he thinks Jadeveon Clowney goes No. 1 or No. 3 overall.
Quote:Couple interesting Oesher tweets with Kiper:NFL teams every where are laughing their butts off at Kiper lol Quote:Sorry Frailbones, I didn't know you needed me to hold your hand through this.Clowneys ceiling is about as high as possible. Bridgewater though has a higher ceiling than I think people are giving credit for. I think he has an Aaron Rogers ceiling personally Quote:Clowneys ceiling is about as high as possible. Bridgewater though has a higher ceiling than I think people are giving credit for. I think he has an Aaron Rogers ceiling personallyPurely as a prospect, Teddy is significantly superior to Rodgers. However, Rodgers made some tweaks to his mechanics while he was sitting the bench early on that helped him go from good not great velocity (like Teddy) to the cannon that he has now. Teddy will have to do the same thing to have Rodgers' ceiling, which is probably unlikely. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

He needs to bulk up 10-15lbs which is a must to improving arm strength 2. He needs to incorporate his lower body in his throws, up till now, most of his throws have been arm throws Quote:To be honest with you, Bridgewater has a enough errors his throwing mechanics and enough weight to put on to have a similar arm as rodgers. It's possible, maybe even probable, that he will gain some velocity as he fills out and adds muscle like Tom Brady did. I don't think he'll get to Rodgers level though, that type of velocity increase from a prospect to a pro is pretty unheard of. He doesn't have to make that much of a velocity jump be a damn good QB either, he has enough arm to be that as is.

Rodgers just fell on draft day, many expected him to go 1st overall

Not that where they went or were expected to go in drafts nearly a decade apart means anything... Physically they are very similar actually, but Teddy is more advanced and nuanced than Rodgers was. Quote:If Teddy was significantly superior to Rodgers as a prospect why is Rodgers rated 99 and Teddy at 93? :confused:Wow, I think all you need to do is look at the WR list on there to tell you all you need to know about the relevance of Scouts Inc. grades. |
