Looks like Teddy, other than skin color.. it's actually kind of weird how much he reminds me of Teddy.

Teddy missed the blitz read in pre-snap. It's an elementary thing for an elite QB to do. You know if you play-fake at your own goal-line to suspect a run-blitz is already been called. Teddy shows right there that he has zero control over the offense.

You watch Brady's Michigan highlights and switch to McCarron's draft breakdown stuff, and taking into account the Brady video was good stuff only, this is the exact same guy.

 

I came away more impressed with Kevin Norwood. This kid will be a nice pickup for someone. McCarron would be a fine later-round pick, but he panics more often than it appeared that Brady did. 

 

 

Love how the casual viewers are throwing out the McCarron-Brady comparisons completely neglecting the fact that McCarron has no pocket presence.

While I think Bridgewater has the best pocket presence in the draft (better than many current NFL QBs), he lacks velocity on his throws. This is Teddy's best asset. If he can translate this ability into the NFL, then he'll be successful.

I'm not on the Teddy Bridgewater HOF train, but to say he doesn't have pocket presence is ridiculous. He's probably better than anyone in this draft (in regards to pocket presence).

Bridgewater has excellent velocity on his short to intermediate throws, I can understand the argument on the long throws
