What were the contract terms? That link isn’t working for me and I can’t find them anywhere.

Pelissero took down his tweet, but it said his source was reporting 3 yrs for 13.5 mil total.  (IIRC)

Wow that’s a good signing then. I’m wondering if they are thinking long term then too because I believe Hayden’s last year of his contract is this year and we’re paying him around 6.5m I believe right now and he could want more the way he played last year.

That sounds way too cheap, he probably made a mistake and that's why he deleted the tweet

That's not why they signed him.
He'll compete for #2 with Herndon.

Who is #1?

They're using free agency to fix their defense up and should hopefully aim to bolster the offense via the draft. The first round is loaded with defensive talent. But it's a weird window where you'll probably see the top players all go off the board at DE, CB, DT & LB early. And then that 2nd tier kind of gets muddy.

Should be looking at an OT or WR with both picks on opening night.
Naw, we still need a DT.  I think Brown or Kinlaw is very much in play there.  I honestly would like Brown to fall to 9 and I'd even trade up fro 20 to take Kinlaw

Don't be surprised if they address DT in free agency, Quinton Jefferson and Michael Pierce are still available.

Sounds like the Jags were in on him but Bills swooped in last minute. I don’t think he would’ve been a fan favorite anyway Laughing

Do we know yet if that dude's tweet was right? I still haven't seen any follow ups to the contract numbers.

Yeah that's from yesterday at 5, the same time that Pelissero tweeted what he did. I don't think we know yet.

CB in the first 3 rounds still seems likely. We need some more depth at the least there.

Yep I'd be super surprised if they didn't go CB in the first 4 picks.

Yep.  I'm hoping first three picks or a trade back into that range.

I feel like we didn’t have a lot of signing action here?

Like we got two profile players, 1 ok DT and 2 resigned

Im surprised we didn’t go after more avg tier FA’s. Who the hell is going to play TE?
