The state of this franchise makes me sick!

No kidding, we won 6 games last year. People act like we were the winless Lions or something.

I mean these two posts have to be a joke or something. Our all time franchise record is 176-224, which equates to a .440 win % which is 30/32 all time in the league. The past decade stats were already highlighted in a chart by a previous post, we will be 32/32 after this season. The only teams with a worse all time win % are the Bucs and cards. The cards atleast reached a SB and the Bucs won one.

Ok, so if the team is competitive and end up 8-8 or 9-7 will you promise not to be a fan anymore then? Since everything about the team is so bad according to you, you could just not be a fan anymore if everybody your rooting against does well, right?

The Gene Smith era followed by the Gus Bradley era gave us a long stretch of really bad results. Otherwise the team has had its moments. From 1995-2007 the Jags were competitive. Since Bradley left the Jags had one season of making it to the AFC Championship game (and almost winning it) followed by two poor seasons. This in spite of never having had a top tier QB. We can all hope that Minshew is that QB, but if not we have a good chance of getting to draft Trevor Lawrence.

It has been bad, but not Cleveland/Detroit/Cincy level bad.

Our 6 wins last year is Dave's second highest win total. He's about to make his 8th draft for us. He is just as culpable for our long stretch of really bad results.

I grew up a Bucs fan. We didn't have a single win for almost 2 full seasons, and don't get me started on the 1980s when 6 wins would've been the high water mark. In fact, the Jaguars track record the first 20 years is eerily similar dammit.

No, it's not a [BLEEP] joke.  I've seen much worse than this in multiple sports.  But hey, keeping crying about it.  You have to take the bad with the good.  [BLEEP] happens.  Or we can just whine about it.

Yeah uh... maybe you should re read the stats? There truly isn't much that is worse than the Jags and it isn't crying it's demanding better. Holy [BLEEP] mate it's like your one of those types who goes to a restaurant and gets served a god awful steak with flies on it and says "Well, not going to cry about it, they got worse in 3rd world countries.". What a joke to want better, how dare we.

Yeah you're right, nobody should complain that the team is terrible. Just go to the damn games and sit down and shut up and enjoy the beating! Or should I say, enjoy the 6 games... soon to be 5.. then 4.. And don't you DARE complain! HOW DARE YOU! PEOPLE HAVE IT WORSE!

And you've been following sports for how long?  I don't have to reread the [BLEEP] stats.

OOoooooooo....you're demanding better.  Let me know how you make out.

Some people fail to understand sports and more specifically the NFL.  This isn't a college league or even a high school league.  There really isn't much difference between the best team and the worst team in any given season.  Teams that consistently have "winning seasons" are in a different situation.  People might be quick to point to New England, but look at their division.  Divisional games account for half (give or take) of the season.  The AFC East does not have any "powerhouse" teams to challenge the Patriots.  We went through many seasons like that when the Colts were actually a really good team (Pay-me-a-ton Manning years).

Yes there are a few teams that are "perennial winners", but you also have to look at their division.

In the end I would like to see our team in the playoffs every year, but if they don't make it I'm certainly not going to pout and cry about it.  Even when they are in a "losing season" they accomplish what I want them to do.  Entertain me and give me something to do.

If they win they win and if they lose they lose.  That's life.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.

6 wins with a rookie QB is a decent year. Sorry your expectations were unrealistic.

Stop complaining you bunch of babies, we may be horrible but some other team in some other sport once was worse, so that makes this current situation not bad at all.

The title of this thread makes me laugh.

We've struck out on the last 3 QBs we've drafted high.

I think in most other respects, the team has made good choices overall. Hard to make up ground when you miss on 3 "franchise" QBs in a row.

Add coaches to the strike out list.

Don't think anybody needed a graphic (or a new thread) to know that this franchise is a literal laughing stock.

We aren't a laughing stock, you have to be relevant for that to happen.

Thread fail. If you are looking for some therapy find Doctor Phil's message board.

Why are so many non Jags fans posting here nowadays? Smells just like News4Jax's comments section on any Jags story around here. Pee-ew!!!

The OP's point is that he's sick of all the losing. I find it difficult to disagree. We've been one of the worst franchises on the field in the league for the past dozen years or so and Khan's admonishment that the fans' support here makes it necessary to move games to London is disingenuous. I suppose you can be a fan and be hunk-dory with losing but that's not how most people would define a passionate fan base.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Not to mention record-setting losing. We've laid claim to some of the worst game stats in NFL history. We are in the record books as 'The Suck'. So yeah, I can see where OP is coming from.
