Surprised he didn't take a Wide Retriever

Ha! There’s your reach (for the pun) ladies and gents! Well played though sir. I was also hurt by Blacklock (and then Jones) going just before our pick, but such is the nature of the draft. Overall I’m pretty happy with our picks thus far...but Christ I don’t understand why our FO feels good about our Oline. That’s been the head scratcher for me for years. BUILD THE DAMN OLINE...and don’t draft RB at 4 overall.

Anyone think it would be a good move to trade a 4th rounder to Washington for Trent Williams?

AJ Terrell, Damon Arnette, Noah Igbinoghene, Jeff Gladney and those two you mentioned.

People overhyped him for something that he never was.

I guess Shenault was overhyped too since Higgins, Pittman, Ruggs, Jeudy, Lamb, Jefferson, Reagor and Aiyuk all went before him.

If you don't like Fulton that's ok, but a lot of people liked him and had him in the 1st for a reason, don't act like he is already a bust.

No trades for Jaguars Friday, but GM Dave Caldwell said he considered moving up in second round and also was on the phone trying to work a trade just before picking NT DaVon Hamilton in the third round. Said moving was at times tempting. "It’s easy to be like, ‘Well, I’ve got 12 picks so let’s use this pick to trade up and trade that.’ Let’s just let the draft come to us and still get talented players that fit our culture, fit our locker room, and they can come in and compete at a high level." -Dave Caldwell

Ummm, maybe I’m wrong but isn’t it easier to sit and let the draft come to him? I think he has that a little backwards.

I could pick up the phone and push for sought after players or I can sit here on autopilot starring at my draft board.

Yes, but somehow I doubt the Skins would take it.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Shenault went where he was projecting.

Fulton obviously didn't, which is a sign that arm chair GMs and the big boys who get paid real money to do this didn't line up.

I mean in Dave’s defense he has hit on late ones like shew, telvin, and Linder in late rounds. But I find myself looking at his moves  and trying to convince myself he must know something we don’t.... I hate to draw the comparison but I remember that feeling from a gm who’s nMe we will not speAk of.

Maybe that’s just me. My rant is done.

Because this is the most exciting part of a Jaguar fans season.

Hahahahahahaha right right, and these guys are never wrong, right?

Like these big boys who get paid real money let Brady fall to the 6th round, Wilson to the 3rd, select Anger in the 3rd, Aguayo in the 2nd.

Thanks for the laugh

Exactly. It's vastly different when your job entails following prospects day in and day out every year versus coming from the dinner table after mommy made meatloaf and watching a youtube video.

I was very surprised and disappointed that the Jags didn't trade up for Josh Jones. Most had him rated no later than mid-2nd round. They could have gotten him at the end of round 2 for no more than one of their 4th rounders.

It's not thinking highly of them - it's moreso that they understand and are exposed to more game tape and data than some kid trying to make "woke" takes from a YT video.

Now go on and eat your lunch before your mom grounds your internet access.

He went exactly where he was supposed to go, don't you dare questioning the big boys decisions!!! Arnette went where he was supposed to too.

You should know these guys are never wrong, this is why they get paid big bucks dude.
