This is shaping up to be one weird season, if it even happens. Almost no training camp, no preseason, virtual practices, no film on anybody new. I can see some really sloppy play the 1st four weeks, especially by teams getting used to new free agents, and those that are rookie heavy. It should also favor players that ad lib well when plays break down, which just may work to our advantage at QB.

I dont want to derail this thread and I REALLY dont want to talk about everything being fake or not.
But do people think the season will go ahead? As said above, this is so far from the norm. We should be getting ready for preseason but weve had barely a week of practice. 5 weeks from proper football, it just doesnt feel like it. I see them making plans, I see them talking positively but part of me thinks it's all delusion.
Jags ahead of the curve by getting their players over the Rona before the season starts.

There's too much $$$ at stake, there will be a season, albeit a weird one. might have 3rd stringers etc. playing several games, depth will be more important this season than virtually any other season in recent memory.
Championship Formula:
1) Draft Trevor Lawrence! 2) Play good physical Defense! 3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy! 4) ??? 5) Blank #2 6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Unless they decide to put everyone in a bubble for each team, they are going to have issues. There are too many players to trust them to not break the rules. These are spoiled young adults who have been above consequences for most of their life. That is why MLB is having problems and football has 2-3x the number of people involved. Honestly, I know it’s a bit cynical, but we might be at quite an advantage Given he’s already been exposed and has antibodies to the virus. This makes it a lot less likely he’s going to go down during the middle the season.

They are doing so much with training rooms and trying to limit the ability to spread but sending players off into the world when you've finished is the complete opposite. Just hoping no one gets it that way. That's why I agree with some kind of bubble but for 16 weeks, covering Thanksgiving and Christmas? That's a big ask. My main concern is getting all excited for a new season and then having it pulled away at the last moment. Theres definitely plenty of money involved which will impact the decision. Is ok football better than no football?
Keep on topic. If you want to talk about vaccines, do it in Fargins Flyby or more likely the political forum.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
