Good afternoon Jags fans! Good group of TE prospects this year and here's my final rankings Enjoy! Em We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I'm hoping for Gillmore with our second pick in the fourth round. I hope he's still on the board!
Why not our first pick in the fourth round? Our second pick in the fourth will be 18 or 19.
Quote:Why not our first pick in the fourth round? Our second pick in the fourth will be 18 or 19. Depends. The TE rankings will be shaken up a bit by the combine and pro days. Right now Gillmore is considered a 5th rounder by some analysts - a 4th by others and a 3rd by our friend Emory. I just think the middle of the 4th would be a great time to take him if he's still on the board. I have no clue where Caldwell ranks TE as a need and when he might consider drafting one - so it's an especially difficult position to guess what the Jaguars may do. Not many clues coming from EverBank to decipher on that topic just yet.
I think tight end is a need this year. We have not talked about them much because most people are only interested in the first two rounds. That position will probably get more attention after next week.
Correction, it is 14 or 19 in the fourth round. The fifth round is 18 or 19. I did a lot of web searching and could not find any website that explains why not 16 or 17 in those two rounds. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Id love to take a flier on Gator Power Forward Patric Young. Dude is a beast and could be like Gates and Graham. Flier meaning a 7th or relentless pursuit in undrafted free agency

You think we should go after a basketball player instead of a true tight end just because two Pro Bowlers changed sports? Gates and Graham are exceptions to the rule. I want a real tight end - someone who has been playing the position since high school. Quote:What? Julius Thomas, Jordan Cameron, and Tony Gonzalez are all former B-Ball players too if I recall correctly. Also some historical players who played both basketball and football at TE: Ron Kramer Pat Richter Mike Ditka John Mackey Bob Windsor Stan Rome Keith McKellars Pete Metzellars
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
MIke Ditka is the only historical name I recognize on that list.
Also, I mean basketball players who did not also play football. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Doesn't seem to have a future in thr NBA so I imagine he will be doing a lot of work after basketball is over. Worth a shot. Imagine a 6'7 Marcades on one side of the line with a 6'9 Young on the other during goal line situations. Could possibly be scary
