Actually that isn't true at the federal level, and individual states can (and do) have different laws. They can have additional, or more stringent laws, but aren't allowed to go under the federal level.

Edit: However, Wisconsin does have an 18 yo limit to posses a long gun, and Illinois has a 21 yo limit to own a long gun.  The part that I find confusing is an 18 year old person can purchase an AR but not a 22 pistol (Federal). Seems bass akwards to me.

Police scanner audio recorded on 23 Aug. 2020 in Kenosha, Wis. indicates a woman called 911 to report Jacob Blake was at her home and wasn’t supposed to be, and had stolen her keys. Responding police were made aware of Blake’s arrest warrant. Court records show a warrant was issued for a felony sex crime charge and more. Blake brawled with cops before reaching inside his car and was shot. He also has a history of assaulting police and violently resisting arrest. Blake survived the shooting but the incident has sparked mass BLM-inspired deadly violence in Kenosha.

I’ve seen that it was a Molotov or a bag on fire. I can’t tell either way. If it’s getting thrown at me, I don’t want to wait to find out. The guy that was shot was chasing him, and whatever he threw at weight on it. He wasn’t throwing it to make the shooter feel comfortable.

Were cops aware or not? If they saw it, that is terrible. The issue with the cops is they have been told to stand down. They are doing mostly nothing but standing there.

People are running around there all the time. It is legal to carry a gun. Unless you saw it happen, a cop wouldn't know anything was wrong.

Fair enough. I was wrong.

Well, he was arrested, but what does their race have anything to do with what happened? One had a knife and was resisting arrest. The other was being attacked by a mob.

That's what the whole BLM movement was about. Black people feel they get treated differently to white people by the police. 

Not saying this is true for every case but it's a pretty clear example of the difference they claim.
