1674 yards rushing and receiving last season behind a line that they fanbase said sucked so much.

I love the defense position of Caldwell is he isn't Gene Smith. What is wrong with some of you people?

Let me break this down for you....

David Caldwell drafted a RB with the 4th overall pick with the following players on the board:

1. Jamal Adams
2. Deshaun Watson
3. Patrick Mahomes

3 years later, he can't get a 7th round pick for said player.

If you still find it in your heart to defend Caldwell, do everyone a favor and remove yourself from this board.

You mean Coughlin did that. He was in charge of the draft and that pick is exactly Coughlin's profile.

That's like saying vomit smells better than diarrhea.

^^^^ This

Gene smith is one the few that I can genuinely say did worse than a teenager playing madden.

If that is the bar we are using to grade our front office, then The laughing stock of the NFL is where we will stay.

Thank you. I'm convinced there are a lot of accounts maybe by the Jags organization because it can't be this many people that see we have had 1 winning season sense 2013 under Caldwell but still try to justify his dumb moves as good ones.

Caldwell is making Matt Millen look good right about now.

Amen!
This is a results-oriented business.  There are no trophies or titles given for "moral victories" or for "winning the draft".  Our record with DC is 37-86.  6-10 is our 2nd best season in 8 years of Caldwell leadership.  These are the FACTS.

I got a good chuckle out of that as well.   Also Caldwell has done more long term damage.

So all the bad picks are Coughlins and the good ones are Caldwell's?  Amazing logic.  Many veteran came here because of Coughlin.  Campbell spoke about that before he came here.

Same fans crying our offense is dated and old too, though. We finally have an OC making changes/playing around more dynamic players out of the backfield and people complain we cut the above average 1 trick RB. It's always something to complain about. I kinda get it, my initial reaction was  Angry Wallbash but calmer heads prevail. LF can be replaced by committee and if Minshew balls this year, who the RB is really won't matter. I'm still excited to see Gruden's offense at work here.

I laugh every time this thread is at the top of the sub-forum. Looking at the view that shows all the sub-forums and their top thread, you see "The Home Team Makes me want to vomit.." I laugh and think of the Gus Bradley days.

Ugh, the Gus Bradley years. Don't remind me. How that guy held onto his job for so long is a study in organizational ineptitude.

No, while he was here Coughlin was the final say, good or bad.

Yeah everyone wants to pick and choose who to blame for the problems of the past 3 years. I say it all falls on Coughlin. He was head honco. He was "the man". He had the con. Credit for Campbell? OK. Credit for Bouye and Church and the surprise run in 2017, fine.
But also credit for Bortles extension. Fournette top 5. Taven Bryan over Jackson. Alienating Smith, Ramsey, and Yannick.

Facts.
