Foxnews.com article says that yesterday was the first day that salons in SF could be open for business, but they had to do everything outdoors. This was indoors. So, legally, Nancy did the wrong thing. But that's not hypocrisy on her part - she played no role in making SF's local health rules. That's just her being ignorant or uncaring of what officials have to say.

She appears to be the only customer in there, but she's not wearing a mask. Disease-wise, it's not that bad, but, she could have done better in this department also.

There's just nothing really to defend here. As a role model and advocate she needs to be more careful, if she wants us to care.

If it's safe for Nancy Pelosi to get her hair done indoors without a mask, it's safe for anyone else who chooses to do so.

If it's safe for Nancy Pelosi's hair stylist to do her hair indoors, then it's safe for salons/barber shops to open and let people earn a living.

If it's safe to get your hair done, then it is safe to vote in person.

Every politician on both sides of the aisle acts like this. Pelosi sucks. Full government recall and congressional term limits along with new limits on the executive branch are required before we further descend into plutocracy.

No, Pelosi has no right to complain because she should have known the city rules and she should have assumed she might be on camera.

That said, the owner is obviously a jerk in this situation, too.  The owner was still trying to collect rent from stylists, and turning a blind eye to stylists who worked in violation of orders, for months.  The owner is obviously a hypocrite here.  If the owner is mad about the shutdown orders, she should take it up with the governor or the mayor, not Pelosi.
