So you have considered the idea of two men sleeping together long enough to decide it is bad and if you think its wrong you obviously think it should be discouraged or maybe even illegal. So yes, you do worry about it, and yes its pathetic in exactly the same way someone who says white and black people shouldn't sleep together.


Maybe this 'worry' doesn't keep you up all night (maybe it does, in which case refer you back to the image search). But if you care about something enough to decry as something bad, then yes, you worry about it.

Im for equal rights, but im not for approving of that lifestyle just like I wouldnt approve of prostitution. Yes, two consenting adults, but ultimately a degradation of society.

This whole thread discusses homosexuality. It is a touchy subject which has generated some healthy debate. I don't see how Joe Rogan, a comedian, actor and sports commentator or stating an opinion on homosexuality translates to political discussion.

You seem to have a profound problem with anybody who doesn't support the lifestyle choices of homosexuals. I'd say you're more sensitive than sensible. Sam's bravery is notable, it speaks even deeper to the idea of that great "dream" of equal rights for all peoples regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation; a dream which is still yet to be fully realized. That doesn't mean people don't have the right to disagree.

 

Equal rights is one thing.

We are not allowed to talk about politics, which includes 16 state laws. If you say what those 16 laws permit, people are going to start giving their opinions about them. It's easy to say, "You can do this here." It's not easy to stop yourself from saying, "I think that is a very bad idea." Therein lies the problem.

 

Chris Kluwe (grrr, hard name to type) said and wrote a lot of things about LGBT rights. It is fine to say he wrote a letter about LGBT rights to a politician. What mods may not like is turning that information into a debate about whether he was right or wrong, etc. People have to interpret the statement as something he did and leave it at that.
