We may be seeing Minshew’s ceiling where he’s unable to throw the ball down the field when he wants. Everything has to be set up perfectly before he does. Don’t over look that. Miami is really not a good team and if we can’t throw the ball down the field on them, what makes you think we can on better teams.

They have Flores as a HC. His Pat's D were better than Patricia. And hed not exactly getting help from the WR's and Oline

You’re right, but everything is never going to be perfect. If a receiver drop a pass, he has to be able to let it rip again.

Downfield throws aren't arm strength. But it did show up on that first down. The receiver broke back in the scramble drill and was open but Minshew doesn't have the arm to get it there on with an off platform throw.
