Myles Jack extension : 4 years / $57 million

I have been impressed with how much better he looks. I think he is definitely better than OK/ Average/ Solid right now. I have definitely not watched every LB to say he is the best, but it doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility.

It is also a long season. Does he continue to grow or does he take a step back toward his MLB days. Right now it is enough that he is earning his paycheck.

I love how one of our players starts to play decent and suddenly he is one of the best  Laughing

I am a fan, not a cheerleader.

You mean the best linebacker in the League?  He is not even in the conversation for that.
This is a results-oriented business.  There are no trophies or titles given for "moral victories" or for "winning the draft".  Our record with DC is 37-86.  6-10 is our 2nd best season in 8 years of Caldwell leadership.  These are the FACTS.

Yep you and Raven are right, I worded that badly.

4-3 outside LB, so excluding 3-4 OLB and ILBs. That narrows the pool quite a bit of course.

At this point he has looked really good to me. If a group that judges the entire leagues play says he’s the best, OK sure. I don’t watch every LB play as closely as I watch the Jags. It seems reasonable based on what I’ve seen that he is getting praise.

He is living up to his contract.  He plays naturally at Will linebacker.  They should never move hiim again from that spot.  Could be like a Derrick Brooks.

He did a good job holding on to that ball that went right through the TE hands and then bounced off his face mask right into Jack's chest.
