Are we talking Silver Age, current New 52 or are we going hard Parallax style? ;-)

Since there's quite a few ties with the coaching staff, I thought I'd throw out a few North Dakota State guys that might be considered.

All height/weight according to team site, so take them for whatever they're worth.

OT - Billy Turner 6'6 314lb.  Got some good reviews at the Senior Bowl.  FCS ADA OL of the year in 2013.

LB - Grant Olsen 6'0 228lb.  Player probably in the mold of a Russel Allen, try hard guy that doesn't necessarily have top level skills.  Had good Junior year with 148 tackles (97 assists 11.5 TFL), but didn't start senior season.  Special teams guy also.

RB - Sam Ojuri 6'0 212lb.  May not be as much of a pass catcher as would be ideal, but NDSU offense isn't much of a passing one (only game lost in the past 2 season was because of 2 pick-sixes).

CB - Marcus Williams 5'11 192lb.  About the same size as Gratz.  21 career INTs, 7 of which were returned for TDs.  Also has a 27.5 yard average on 44 kick returns.

I don't know how many people on this board are going to have any idea what this means.

But for the heck of it, Geoff Johns era for me.

Quote:I know Wisconsin's players best, and I think they're the only prospects I'm even remotely qualified to comment on.

I think Chris Borland will be a bit more above the radar than he is now by the time the draft rolls around, and I think I'd really enjoy watching Jared Abbrederis as a Jaguar if he's taken late.

Those two players will be in the NFL for a very long time

Yes.  I'd love to see Gillmore taken with the Jags second pick in the fourth.  (Bibbs in the sixth or seventh)

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
