Will Manziel's desire to be drafted by the Texans turn off Jaguar or Browns Fans?

Quote:Lets say Bridgewater came in at the combine at 6'2-6'3 at 215lbs and at his pro days displayed a powerful/elite arm That connection means nothing. We know the Rams are not going to pick a quarterback at #2, so any quarterback the Texans don't pick will be available at #3. You are still not a wise man. If a team feels that there is a prospect that could be taken ahead of them, they will trade up. Thats the whole purpose of trading up to the rams... Quote:Vino you have no idea what you talking about. He is the only legitimate 1st round qb in this class and the Raiders have been rumored to be interested in him.I clearly know more than your made up facts. No team is trading up for Bridgewater in the top 5, he's not worth that. He has a bad deep throw, serious injury potential if he's not very well protected, and there are a ton of people who think he may measure in at 6'1''. Doesn't help that he never proved himself against high level competition and only played scrubs his entire career with the exception of 2-3 games and looked average a lot this year. Having good mechanics and ball placement on short-intermediate routes is not good enough to make you a top 5, or even top 10, pick. "A man with no sauce is lost.
<p style="text-align:center;">But that same man can get lost in the sauce."

He is a lot taller than 6'1, more around 6'2-6'3, please stop bringing up this high level bs, its means nothing in the long term. You have never watched his games think that You come across as someone who dislikes him more for messing with your girlfriend than his football prowess.
Quote:Not using the old noggin I see. You mean my brain? You are the one not using yours. Why would David Caldwell want to give the Rams two picks to move up one spot to pick a quarterback? Only an idiot would do that. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

You clearly know nothing about Teddy Bridgewater if you have to rely on the opinions of other posters to get any information about him.
Quote:What if the Raiders and Browns were moving up for the same QB? David Caldwell can pick another one of his top three guys, of course. Duh. Quote:I clearly know more than your made up facts. Bridgewater or johnny ego? What stellar competition did Big Ben face during college? If you think good mechanics and ball placement is all Teddy has going for him....you haven't done enough homework or simply don't understand all that goes into playing qb in a pro style offense. It's TB's mental makeup that will make him a monster weapon at the next level. Not 60 yard scrambling luck outs or chucking it up with a prayer on broken plays against slower players.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

Quote:John Elway did literally nothing for the team that drafted him.He ended up going to the Broncos regardless.
Quote:Everybody wants to be drafted by the Texans because they have the number 1 pick. Clowney has said it, Bortles has said it, and Teddy has also said it. And also, what you left out, is that he also said this Vino, obviously I read the whole article. I did state that he did some clean up after most of the article was about him wanting to be a Texan. Hey, I like the kid, his words were just a bit off putting. He should realize, if he doesn't get picked at 1 or 2, he'd be lucky to get picked at 3. And at this point last year, many had Geno Smith or Demontre Moore going top 3, and look how that ended up.
Quote:He ended up going to the Broncos regardless. You said he did great things for the team that drafted him, not the team he played for. Quote:Johnny Manziel made a strong statement about being a "Texas boy" & wanting to stay in Texas with the Texans. He did a little clean up, by stating it'd be a big mistake for the Texans if the Jaguars drafted him and they had to play each other twice a year. I'm a big Manziel fan, and it could be his competitive nature in wanting to be drafted #1,I just didn't think it was smart. To early in draft process & I'd rather have Clowney any ways. No. I was turned off by Manziel long before these statements. These statements are harmless. Peyton Manning essentially told the Colts the same thing. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Quote:However gus and snead are best friend, we may have a leg up for less I sure hope this really benefits the Jaguars. Somehow I doubt it will, but man I hope it does, especially this first round. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

They have way more ammunition -- 2 first rounders and 2 third rounders -- for trading up than any team in this draft.

Where did the extra third rounder come from? They would not trade their extra first round pick just to leapfrog us. |
