Respect.

Hayden is gone which means Tre plays a new position which means some turd on the outside oppose Henderson..... Houston is winless but they’ve played a much much tougher schedule than the Jags.

Jags have been the 1st victory for Fins and Bengals. Texans will make 3 in a row.

Hayden has been terrible so far this season though. If Herndon struggles in the slot, it wont be any different from the first 4 games at that position honestly. Hes also played in the slot here before, so it's not like he's playing a brand new position. Hes had some time there previously.

Regardless of that, I fully expected Watson to go for about 400 passing yards and 100 rushing yards on us to begin with. A change at CB isn't going to change my opinion on that. This Defense hasn't stopped anybody for 4 weeks and there's no reason why it should start now.

The only way we win against the Texans is to run Robinson more than 15 times a game. They give up way too early.

We're 7th overall in YPA when rushing while also only 30th overall in attempts-per-game. That's ridiculous. The Texans also allow 182 YPG, so if we walk away from this game with less than 25-30 carries total then I bet we lose.

I agree with what you are saying.  We do get behind quickly in most games, but we abandon the run too soon.  I take our inflated offensive stats with a grain of salt because a lot of it has to do with garbage time yards and points from defenses playing us soft.  I agree that the way to beat Houston is to run the ball, limit their time of possession, and take our shots when they start overplaying the run.  That is part of the reason I think this will be a lower scoring game than most people believe.  But I still do not think we have enough talent to keep it within a one score game.
This is a results-oriented business.  There are no trophies or titles given for "moral victories" or for "winning the draft".  Our record with DC is 37-86.  6-10 is our 2nd best season in 8 years of Caldwell leadership.  These are the FACTS.

I'd argue that the YPC is early in games and not really garbage time stats but I agree with everyone else. As long as we stick to the run, this will be low scoring because I think we'll have success. If they continue to abandon it early, then they're going to slaughter us.

I would agree with that.  I meant "garbage time" was more passing yards and a couple late scores that inflate the perceived overall offensive production.  I do not think we have the 6th or 7th best offense in the League; that ranking is a function of both garbage time stats and quality of opponents.  But I agree that our YPC is legit... both our RB and OL deserve credit for that.

I can't see the Giants doing much with Barkley done for the season.

I agree with you.  We are not running the ball nearly enough.  Too much to put on a Sophmore QB.

Just what we need, a few meaningless wins.  This team is not playoff caliber and going 5-11 or 6-10 isn't going to do anything.  The team needs to go 1-15 so Khan has no choice but to fire the bozos Marrone and Caldwell.

Khan needs to fire both even if we win 5 or 6 games.

Ya i didnt get in the bengals game the run game was working very well and we just kinda went away from it.  One aspect of grudens play calling that is a bit questionable. We are going to need a run game to try to keep our defense off the field.

I don’t think this team deserves any favorable predictions until we prove that we can compete in all phases. I personally do not think we can beat the Texans. I hope I’m wrong.
