But the QB position is by far the most important, and Minshew isn't a franchise QB.  I'd rather us draft a QB like TLaw or Fields, and then fill in the other positions from there.

A solid QB will mask some of the holes on this offense. Drafting O-Line and D-Line won't give Minshew the arm strength to make deep throws on the regular.

It’s not all about stats. If minshew never completes a pass over 30 yards but maintains a high completion % and it puts points on the board then who cares. Everyone gets so caught up trying to emulate that KC offense and it can’t be done. We need to find our OWN way to win and we can do that with minshew. If our defense didn’t give up 30+ points per game the last 4 games our record might be very different

I get that it's not all about stats. Just by watching the game, he doesn't pass the eye test to me. He'll make a 1-2 nice plays a game, but then he'll follow that up by making 3-4 mistakes soon after.

I loved Minshew Magic last year, it was a fun story in an otherwise pathetic season. But IMO, the gimmick is done, and it's time to really look at the QB position. We all love him and his attitude and charisma, but he's not a true game changing quarterback. He's more of the "Win in spite of, rather than a win because of" type of quarterback.

I'm all for drafting a QB in the 1st round this year. If not, i'd consider seeing what the Jets want for Darnold.

when your quarterback is running for his life all game and constantly playing from a deficit this is what you get...

1-15 here we go.

Just an absolute mess. Boneheaded decisions and plays all round.

There's some potential in this side, particularly offensively but this is not the coaching team to get it out of them.
