The health and safety of the American people? That's the narrative. Yeah, I do hold him in high regard. He's telling us the science of how to cut down the risk of getting Covid-19 and I appreciate that, because Trump is doing just the opposite.

Tony Fauchi has one job. Trump has the job off marrying his information with many other factors including people being able to maintain a livelihood.

With the hypocritical media, the politicization of the pandemic, Fauchi flip flopping more than a pancake, and our governments refusal to help people with another stimulus, my gut tells me most people are tired of Tony Fauchi.

Trump dismisses Fauci when the facts don't fit his narrative. There is a reason why the U.S. has nearly 100,000 more deaths than the next highest country and it's because Trump has tried to silence the scientists every chance he gets and throws out his own misinformation. He's no scientist. He's clueless. He's a businessman. He knows nothing about the disease. He only knows what the experts tell him, but he doesn't want them stealing his thunder. This is just another case of Trump's ego getting in the way of what is right, only this time it has cost a lot of people their lives.

I listened to him until he was having to backtrack on too much info he put out. Not all his fault since the science of Covid is not known, so there is that. But I don't trust him now because he just keeps talking. And to disagree with Fauci does not mean I am for Trump and how he handles anything. 

The biggest problem I've had with the handling of Covid is the media. I understand the public want and deserve answers, but this novel virus spread into a worldwide pandemic during an election year with a magnifying glass on every move made by the scientific community. And it's been politicized by the media, the democrats and the republicans. Virus discovery, analysis, and vaccines typically happen behind closed doors at the CDC and USAMRIID. Things we only vaguely hear about. Covid exploded and we're all collateral damage with the misinformation whether intended or not.

Fauci fails at an impossible job (being a highly visible scientist when the science is not settled yet), but he does it with good intentions.

Trump fails at a possible job (coming up with workable compromises on reopenings, masks, and relief/stimulus), and he does it with bad intentions.

But Americans don't think much about the international scale.  Most of us don't travel, or even read about other places.

Consider that most of us still think Caitlyn Jenner is a joke or a tragedy, and the candidate for President affirmed that 8 year olds can and should imitate that, you might start to understand what he means by "extreme left".

You can call it a throwaway vote if you want, but trying to choose the lesser of two evils between Trump and Kamala Harris (we all know she will end up being president if Biden is elected,) is just a coin flip for me. I genuinely loathe them equally. I see no redeeming value in either one. Besides, I'm tired of picking between the lesser of two evils. That's why we keep ending up with crappy candidates. It's just like the South Park analogy. Every election is a choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich. It's time to actually vote for someone who will do the best job and not choose a candidate who is less evil than the other one, just because that's who is probably gonna win. I truly believe Jo Jorgensen is the best candidate for the job, so that's how I voted. I did my civic duty and I am able to sleep well at night, knowing I didn't contribute to the downfall of America. 
Personally, I can't fathom anyone would consider Trump/Pence or Biden/Harris. Neither have any redeeming values as far as I'm concerned.
