Based on media coverage it is over, you should get with the times. You must not be getting your daily talking points. You are not supposed to talk about covid anymore.

Only to the illiterate or willfully ignorant. The reaction from the conservatives on this board to the selection of Kamala Harris as Joe Biden‘s running mate was to discredit her based on her gender and race.

The only people that care about her gender and race are those that worship at the liberal alter of identity politics.

Are the constant personal attacks on Melania Trump about her nationality and gender or the fact that she married Donald?

While it’s tempting to propose karma for Arizona’s election outcome, the truth of the matter is it’s a pandemic of Californians fleeing the morass of their own creation and subsequently infecting the place of refuge.

Much like the New Yorkers and Jersians in South Florida.

Those people are winnable.
A better Republican party would compete for them.

In any case, I think the people of Arizona overall have soured on the Joe Arpaio brand, and Trump tied himself to that brand very strongly.

What's the problem? I see nothing wrong with this, given there is a pandemic going on. One of my friends recently lost their father to Covid 19 and his mother is currently in the ICU and she's not doing well at all. Another couple of our family friends ( in their late 30's) from church, currently have it as well. The husband has a rare blood disease and has been sick for many years. On top of his disease, he has one of the rarest blood types as well. He needs frequent blood transfusions and his condition keeps getting worse as the blood type he needs gets harder and harder to find. The doctors haven't really given him much of a chance, now that he has Covid on top of all his other issues. It seems to be getting worse here in southwestern Ohio and Governor DeWine (a Republican,) says if things don't progress shortly, he is going to issue a shutdown, maybe as early as next week.

What media coverage? Here in Ohio, our Republican Governor (DeWine) gives daily television briefings and he's telling us things are getting worse. He's talking about a second round of shutdowns as early as next week. Of course, he is a true Republican and not one of those Trump disciples, so I trust what he says.

Shift the blame. Nothing is ever Trump's fault. It's always another factor involved. Unbelievable!

To a certain extent they may be winnable. Hopefully Washington state and Oregon serve as tales of caution.

Regardless, Trump is a polarizing figure which caused many people to vote against his persona. They didn't vote for anything, just against him. Were Trump more tactful, Arizona would have probably stayed red. However, like Texas, I see Arizona becoming more of a battle ground state in the next election because fleeing Californians are stupid.

I'm curious as to your posting in this thread. Self admittedly you did not have a dog in the hunt. You claim to hate both candidates but your bashing is 99.9% aimed only at one of them. Makes your claim of not caring about either just seem a little disingenuous IMO. No big deal, like I said, just curious.

I seriously don't like either one, but in this case, you guys are completely ridiculous! I haven't complained as much about Biden because he has yet to take office. Not one thing in 4 years has ever been Trump's fault according to a large portion of people on this board. It's always someone else's fault. I won't miss that once Trump is gone. As much as I hate "faltering" Joe and his banshee VP, it'll be nice to not hear about the constant shifting of blame and Trump worship that I've had to endure for 4 years.

People read into things what they wanna see. Trust me, I have a feeling that I'll be doing plenty of complaining about the incoming president for the next 4 years. It'll just be a different set of reasons why I hate him. I expect a lot less outright lying from the next administration and a lot more doing things I just flat out don't agree with. It's basically two sides of the same coin.

I have no clue what you are talking about. It is an actual FACT people are fleeing California for states like Arizona and Texas, and there is clear evidence they are bringing their political beliefs with them.  Why are they fleeing California? I would love to hear your opinion of this.

That's common in politics. In fact, it's partly why politics sucks so badly. Democrats couldn't even blame Hillary for the 2016 loss, you think they would blame her for COVID? What's going on with Trump and his supporters is nothing new. The only thing different about Trump is he gave a big middle finger to the media that establishes the narrative. Before that, Republicans would "spin" their own narrative to counteract the news, but Trump just said, "Fake news!" Sometimes he was right, sometimes he was wrong.

Extremely high real estate costs.
Taxes are actually low compared to the land values.

The fact is that people in Arizona really liked McCain and Trump's constant bashing of a war hero, even after his death caused a lot of people in Arizona to vote against him. Especially since Trump was a draft dodger himself. Oh, I forgot. He had "bone spurs", even though he cannot remember which foot they were in and he still plays golf and tennis without problems.

Did you also forget that creepy joe received more deferments than Trump did and also a medical exemption because of "Asthma" as a teen. All that while participating in organized sports?

Most people aren't aware of Biden's draft dodging.  A competent campaign manager could have pointed it out.  Wouldn't have changed my vote, though.

Getting worse?  That’s impossible.  Trump said we were “rounding the corner” for months now, and over 70 million people agreed with him.
