Patriots defense got better when he left and Lions got worse when he showed up. No thanks

And for my next magic trick... I will engineer these crack rocks and smoke em too!
Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.

And the Lions have been extremely successful continually switching coaches.

Oh....wait...

And we've been so successful by giving a lot of time to Bradley, Marrone and Caldwell? Maybe we need to give Marrone more time...

Marrone already said he won't fire Wash, so we'll get to enjoy this great defense again next year!

Don't sweat it too much, Marrone and Caldwell will both be gone next year.

The Lions should not have changed coaches the last time.  Jim Caldwell had a winning record and went to the playoffs twice in his 4 years in Detroit.

But we have been HORRIBLE.  Full house cleaning required here on Black Monday.

I agree regarding Bob Quinn making a mistake letting Jim Caldwell go. I used the hashtag #KeepCaldwell a number of times in December, 2017.  Underrated HC, who wasn't perfect but he was better than most in that role in his 4 seasons with the Lions.

The Bob Quinn/ Matt Patricia combo had to go.

As for Patricia, I think he's better suited to be a Defensive Coordinator or Position Coach than a HC. As a HC,  one of his key failings ( and Bob Quinn's as GM ) was he put his Defensive System ahead of acquiring and using more talented players. The selection ( and usage ) of Hawaii LB Jahlani Tavai, who Quinn drafted with pick # 43 in Round of the 2019 Draft,  illustrates as much as anything why Quinn and Patricia failed.

I'd rather have a DC that isn't married to his system.
Give me a guy with experience running all sorts of fronts. So he can adjust his scheme and plan to the players instead of what we've been doing with Wash for the past few seasons.

I'll make it simple for you.  Giod teams don't continually recycle coaches and GMs.  That is the extent of what I was saying.

Yeah, that's because they have a good one.

It is simple either you have a good one or not, being patient just for the sake of it doesn't work.

Jags gave Del Rio like 8 seasons and did nothing
Titans gave Fisher what? 10 years? for what?

Besides, I was just doing the same thing you do everytime you quote me but whatever.

I am a fan, not a cheerleader.
