This includes Kevin McCarthy. A lot of his supporters in Congress are infuriated with his egging this on and refusing to do anything more than send tweets to stop it.

Concede and resign. That's what it's going to take to end this. Admit that he was beaten, there was no organized widespread fraud, and then walk away and let Pence run the last days of the transition.

If Trump were to come out and concede defeat, even if he doesn't address fraud at all, yes. I believe that it would. The crowd right now thinks (or thought, before they decided that MAGA and Qanon should go ahead and become official terrorist groups) that they're fighting for their leader. If their leader loudly and publicly admits defeat, things will de-escalate.

Does anyone truly believe these agitators are Trump supporters who have managed to contain themselves for 4 years while being ridiculed and kicked in the face by the MSM? I think we will be surprised (not surprised) about what comes out of this. Tons of pictures of the perpetrators out there now. Are you kidding me. MSM (which includes FOX News) had non-stop coverage of the peaceful protests that the Dems held throughout DC, NYC, Atlanta, SF, LA, Chicago and other cities upon Trump being elected in 2016. No violence but absolutely full time coverage.
