Teddy Bridgewater is a legit 6'3 and 214, now hush.

All the talk about him not having the size to take hits is just talk. I see no reason not to draft him now if he is available at #3. Here is hoping the Texans fall for the Manziel hype train.

For me, our board should look like, assuming everyone aces their interviews:

1a) Teddy

1b) Clowney

2a) Manziel

2b) Mack

3) Watkins

I felt this way before he measured, but I really feel like it now, if Bridgewater is available when we pick there is no one else we should pick.  Even if Clowney is available.  I hope and pray we see Teddy come home to Florida this year in teal!

Bridgewater was closer to 6'2" not 6'3".  Either way, there's no reason not to draft either of them based on size/height in my opinion.

Okay I spoke too soon. He is 6'2 1/8 but that is still adequate size. He'll be slightly taller in cleats.

If he is at the 3rd, we are getting him

Brees and Wilson have proven that's tall enough. The main question will be what Caldwell sees in him from a developmental standpoint.

Of course this is all academic, it's not like 2 other teams won't have a shot at him first. If he's really all that he'll likely already be gone by pick #3.

If we pass on Teddy and he goes on to be a franchise QB somewhere else I'll cry.

Jesus Christ, what  a negative outlook.  If he's worth us taking, he won't be there for us to take?   So that means if we take him, then he wasn't worth it?   That's kind of a lose-lose outlook, isn't it?

I don't think any QB is the third best player in the draft. It doesnt matter how much you people like or want them. They've seen all the tape on them and have said no one has "presented" themselves, so unless someone wows them in the interviews its not likely we're taking a QB at 3. Even if all of them are available.

So is your problem literacy based or is it just personal?

Neither.

He's got a weak arm. Not much velocity to drive the ball deep.  He's a dink and dunk passer.

He's a great intermediate passer. (15-20 yards)

Such a big deal was made about the hand size of Johnny Football and Teddy...Teddy had 9 1/4" hands and Johnny Football only slightly bigger at 9 3/4" hands.

Johnny just under 6' tall.

Hand size may be an issue but I found it suprising that his hand size is the same as Blake Bortles (who is 6'5" tall).   Maziel has huge hands ... a half inch bigger then both.

That's a big difference in hand size.
