***The Official NFL Combine Thread***

Looking at the WR 225 reps surprised abbrederis is so low...but on the flip side Cody Latimer is the highest for WRs and a guy with prototype size and some good skills as well.

Quote:Another note...the mock interview between Steve Mariucci and Bortles was funny.

You could see the snarky smile and the twinkle in Mooch's eyes, when Bortles started explaining how he played in the pro-set offense....

To be a drop-back passer, it's generally accepted that you have to drop back.

You watch game after game, and Bortles rarely, if ever, starts under center, drops back, and fires a completion beyond the line of scrimmage.

I sure hope the pro scouts are able to force Bortles to throw drop-back passes. You'd hate to see a quarterback that can't drop-back go in the first round.

Hardly any of these qbs take it under center though.

Wow Martavius, now if only he could catch...that size/speed is jaw dropping.

These wide receivers are fast! Must be the shoes. Evans a 4.5 and he was mad about it.

4.5... that's awesome for a guy Evan's size. He's a number one for sure.

Sure would be nice if they would show the 40s and not just slobber over JFF.

Teddy not running the 40. Scared to compete?

No one makes decisions for anyone else. He may have been advised not to but it's his decision

hmmm...I don't like that. Why isn't he running? Now I understanding that 'not throwing' is a norm of most top QBs, but not running? I really wanted to know his official 40, that's important for a guy who claims he'll be able to run and be used as a dual-qb in the pros.

I mean hell, I saw all the QBs out there today, even the most proto-pocket passers like McCarron were giving it a go. Really wish he would have ran, he's making himself the odd QB out for no reason. I think he would/could have been 2nd or 3rd fastest today, only behind Manziel; now it only adds to doubt/suspicion.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

Nobody is drafting Teddy to be fast, so who cares what his 40 is?

I hope not. Gus would surely frown on that.

No one is drafting McCarron for his speed. But he ran it anyways.

Kelvin Benjamin looks so awkward in everything he does. He also needs extra explanation in pretty much every drill.

They say he isn't the brightest bulb in the room. If you draft Benjamin it would be based purely on raw potential. He's going to struggle as a rookie.

The biggest knock on Teddy was his size...he showed he is over 6'2" and 214 lbs.. He came there for that and the interviews, which is the most important thing at the combine anyway

I wouldn't draft Benjamin until the late 2nd
