1.  Zach Wilson is the easy choice.  Oddly I would also add Justin Fields for somewhat similar reasons.  TL and Fields seemed to be rivals in high school.  They wound up 1-1 in college-both playoff games.  I think it would be fun to see their development continue throughout their NFL careers.

7.  Interesting answer!  Cunningham was odd.  It didn't seem like he should be fast because he had those long legs and took those long strides, and for all those who thought BL had a windup should go watch clips of Cunningham.  Yet he had a flair for the spectacular.  Too bad his prime years were sabotaged by a head coach in Buddy Ryan who had zero use for offense-either his own or the other team's.  He had a good pair of receivers in Fred Barnett and Calvin Williams, and an outstanding TE in Keith Jackson (I wish we could have him here), but also had one of the worst O-Lines you'll ever see.

8.  Although TL is plenty mobile and athletic, I too was going to offer scrambling ability, though it was Brunell's scrambling ability that came to mind.

I specifically took the tinhorns out of consideration because I think the loss/distraction of Watson will be a bigger factor than what TL would bring to the table. They are cratering and should be an easy win if Watson is kept off the field by team or league.

For 8, I will admit that I didn't migrate to FL until after the turn of the century, and as such missed out on a lot of Brunell's magical seasons in teal. Brunell may have been the better scrambler, but Dave's run will forever be etched in my memory.

If you get a chance to see that 1996 Divisional playoff game against Denver (you might be able to catch it on Youtube) you'll see why Brunell came to mind.  Damn that playoff run was amazing.

But I'm pretty much giving up on trying to minimize expectations for TL.  They are already at an insane level, and me trying to lower them would be akin to standing in front of a moving freight train.

Yes.  This year will serve as a measuring stick for him and our front office.

Even for those teams who don't pick a QB in this draft, most of them still represent guys who have been productive players over the years or are still productive like Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, Garoppolo, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Carson Wentz and Tannehill.

Unless the rookie QBs rookie or there is some sort of injury, it's looking like the worst QB on our schedule might be Tyrod Taylor (assuming a Watson suspension/holdout) or Drew Lock.  Maybe Wentz if he has been damaged by his time in Philly and Reich can't fix him.  Maybe Cam Newton.

More concerning, there are some very strong defenses in this schedule.

Rams.  Healthy 49ers.  Bills, Belichick's Patriots, Seattle, Miami, Colts twice
