As for the other conversations on this post. I think players that mentor other players is not a myth. It happens all the time as it does in every job/sport in the world. Also, a mentor doesn’t have to outright say “I am a mentor” it might be that they are a role model to other players, which is just another way of being a mentor.

On Minshew, I just have this weird feeling we will trade him with Washington to move up in Round 1 to get a OT.

That would be fantabulous. Grab Darrisaw and move Minshew. Win-win.
Agreed completely!

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I wish him the best in retirement.

Short clip but he's mentioning what Meyer's building.

The guy had a great career and comeback. But I did not want him in a Jags jersey if he were to ever injure his leg again

I say bring him in on a 1-day contract and let him retire a Jag.  He would automatically be qualified as the 3rd or 4th best QB in Jaguar history.

Not Hardly.

I'm actually not sure I want Alex Smith as the QB coach. Great guy but I think for someone like Trevor Lawrence you need Peyton Manning or Dave Cutliffe giving him advice.

Would have loved if Alex Smith was in JAX. The ESPN special on him was [BLEEP] amazing. True warrior.
