Quote:Sigh, Sankey's big game on national TV against Oregon is inflating his image so much. He is probably the most overrated RB in this class. Average guy all around. Would much rather have Freeman, Crowell, Bibbs, West...heck like a dozen RB are better than him in this class. Yes, because I cited his game against Oregon as my main reason for liking him. ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Yes, because I cited his game against Oregon as my main reason for liking him. Why like a player just because of one game? Quote:Why do you feel the need to discount every player your not high on? All these players are good, just like 32 teams will like different players more and less, we on this board will like different players, no reason for you and others on this board to try to make like a player is overrated or not all that just because you like other players better.I could be wrong, but like I said I think the reason most people on these boards like him is because they saw him one time have a good game on national TV in a shootout against Oregon. I don't think their opinion comes from breaking down the half a season or more's worth of cutups it takes to come up with a proper evaluation. If I am wrong and these people saying they love Sankey have done thorough research then I apologize and I will respect that opinion. However, I think that if they have put in the work they would share my opinion (and the vast majority of other draftniks) that Sankey is merely an average RB in this class. Quote:Relax man.Naw he does it all the time on players he is not high on or dont like, he claims they are overrated and then down them and act like his opinion is facts Its not like people are saying pick Bishop Sankey with the 3rd pick

Quote:Yes, because I cited his game against Oregon as my main reason for liking him.No, you didn't say that, but I would guess that it is why because almost no one has the capability of watching Washington weekly live on TV...and very few people take the time to watch multiple cutups on DB or YT to get a proper evaluation. As I said above, if you have done that then kudos for putting in the work and I apologize for disrespecting your opinion. We show less advertisements to registered users. I do it too. Every draft nik does.

2015 NFL Draft - Analyzing Targets www.jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/7892-2015-nfl-draft-analyzing-targets/ Quote:Naw he does it all the time on players he is not high on or dont like, he claims they are overrated and then down them and act like his opinion is factsI guess having been on these boards for many years now I can usually just tell by now when people's opinion's are based on actual prospect study or even a multitude of live game watching as opposed to when it is swayed by one big national TV game (like so many people on here liking Boyd because of his bowl game vs LSU last year when that was clearly an outlier performance), a YT highlight video, ESPN 'talent' slobbering, etc. But like I've said I am probably wrong w/ those assumptions from time to time and I am sorry in those cases.
Quote:No, you didn't say that, but I would guess that it is why because almost no one has the capability of watching Washington weekly live on TV...and very few people take the time to watch multiple cutups on DB or YT to get a proper evaluation. Watched almost every game against the PAC-12 the last two years and any decent non-conference opponent they had scheduled along with bowl games. And honestly, I've always thrown away this past season's Oregon game because Oregon's run defense was so atrocious that he was getting video game numbers. I don't normally swoon over prospects, but when I do, you can believe that I've watched him enough to not be swayed by games like the Oregon game.
I can't speak for Sankey because I haven't watched him much, but In my opinion Mason is being underrated here. I've known Mason was going to be a great player since the 2012 opener against Clemson. I believe whoever drafts Mason is going to get a 2009-2011 MJD caliber player. I don't think he is quite as explosive as the 06-07 MJD but is still a really good player capable of making big plays. He has excellent agility, vision, acceleration, and leverage. He is also a good kick returner with multiple return TDs in his career.
Btw Ive had this picture up since the new board in September or so. I'm not a band wagon Mason guy. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I always thought basing an opinion on one game is stupid, but 300+ yards in the SEC Championship Game is enough to make me interested in him as a draft prospect.
My take on Greg Robinson is that the team that drafts him should treat him like Tyron Smith of the Cowboys. Plug him in at RT the first year to ease into the NFL game and he will be a top 5 RT in the first season. Then switch him over to LT the next year.

If the Rams draft him that would be a feasible option too if Long comes back healthy in time.

Teddy Bridgewater reminds me of Lon Chaney in the Phantom of the Opera. Scene after scene Chaney appeared to be focusing the audience on his closed fist. Then when everybody is angry and upset at the villainy, they chase Chaney down to the waterside, where he makes one last stand. With the angry crowd to his right and to his left about to seize him, Chaney reaches into his cloak and withdraws that closed hand, even points to it, in order to hold off his undoing. He shakes the fist and the crowd backs off. Finally, no longer able to contain his sheer delight at making complete fools of the crowd, Chaney opens the hand and laughs because the whole time he's been empty-handed.
