You're probably one of those guys that complained that we got MJD... probably complained he was too small and not worth the draft pick... You're probably one of those guys that laughed at Tom Brady getting drafted also... who's this scrawny guy in the sixth round.... We show less advertisements to registered users. I think you take players you envision being really good, if you take players based soley on the position they play and not their real potential you end up a loser. I refuse to judge this draft until i see how these players do.
To me this draft is the definition of a high risk high reward draft. I'll grade it in a year or 2
We picked some High Risk High reward players coming off of injury. If they work out this draft will be great.

We got a RB in the first round that was the best RB in the country. 49ers fan here, I hope your draft turns out good and you guys have a good season this year because it is always fun when you guys win games. As for your draft I didn't follow too closely how you drafted but I saw that Trent Baalke struck again with his favored ACL team. One thing you guys will notice is that Trent Baalke loves to draft places coming off ACL injuries or who have had ACL injuries in college. Some are great, some are major busts but he sure does like drafting them.

Id rather take first round talent in late rounds due to injury than players who suck and you just gotta hope they turn into something. He is counting on them returning to their previous form or close to it. Time will tell if this will work out. ![]() |
