Poe did close to nothing at Memphis. The combine absolutely changed his draftability. What he did following the draft is irrelevant.

Go watch all of his game tape from the past 3 years, if you still say he's overrated you're not very bright. 

 

The true test will be what Texas does.

 

If he's all that, they should take him.  They wouldn't want their division rival to have him if he's legit.

 

That's becoming my theory on why everyone is absolutely quiet on Ted.  Texas is going out of their way to avoid talking about Ted, all you hear is that they're in love with either Bortles or Manziel.  I think they're going to select Ted if no one wants to trade for their pick, and by talking about QBs, they are hoping/fishing for folks that might want to trade up to select Clowney at #1.  By signaling they are looking at two QBs (and not the one they have in mind) they remove the QB traders from the trade conversation without tipping who they really are going to take.  Just my crazy theory.  Otherwise, I don't see how Ted isn't the #1 pick if he's truly worth the hype he's been getting.
