Clowney, then Bridgewater, then Watkins, then trade back.
In that order.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
Trading back was not an option. Rick said Mack. Jessica was swayed from Barr to Mack by Rick's enthusiasm. Frank said Watkins.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Quote:With the amount of hype and attention on Manziel, I get the feeling he will disappoint Idk I was a little iffy about him also, but he seems super focused and confident. I bet Gus and Dave had a great interview with him
Shock the world
Quote:Idk I was a little iffy about him also, but he seems super focused and confident. I bet Gus and Dave had a great interview with himI am not worried about that. He isn't stupid, he knows he is on a job interview. Its the size, college system and speed of the NFL that ultimately dooms him
Quote:I am not worried about that. He isn't stupid, he knows he is on a job interview. He skipped Super Bowl festivities to stay home and workout. He seems focused and ready to fight for something. And he's not going to be "doomed." IMO Jedd Fisch would do a great job easing Manziel in. Make him comfortable with the "easy throws" and then start to unleash him a bit. Like Seattle with Wilson. Just my opinion though, he could be super special.
Shock the world

Quote:He skipped Super Bowl festivities to stay home and workout. He seems focused and ready to fight for something.I commend that, however it remains to be seen if he can handle that at the NFL level. The lights on him, he HAS to stay straight, would be a fool not to. Wilson played like he did at Seattle because he had Marshawn Lynch and a dominant defense to hang back on. There is no luxury like that here. No such thing as easy throws. There is definitely no unleashing of a 5'11, 205 qb or Fisch should be fired at the first sign of serious injury. "Super Special" stuff quite frankly sounds ridiculous and a product of the hype engine. The only qbs who can be truly "Super Special" are Kaep and even more so Cam Newton They have the athleticism, size, strength, arm and instinctual ability to be all time greats The only thing that Manziel has that is arguably elite is escape ability. I am not even sold on his pocket presence, considering he had the cleanest pocket in all of CFB and would often times bail early I think he has potential, but no dice for me. Bridgewater has elite pocket presence, elite accuracy, and his mental game is going to be elite No brainer

He has a chance of being really really good. And btw I'm a big Bridgewater guy also. I want either Bridge Johnny Clowney or Mack

Quote:Really good = bottom top 10 Kid can throw from the pocket dude. Very underrated skill he has.
Shock the world
Quote:Kid can throw from the pocket dude. Very underrated skill he has.He can throw from a CLEAN pocket with WIDE open lanes
Quote:He can throw from a CLEAN pocket with WIDE open lanes So can Teddy and jameis.
Shock the world
Quote:So can Teddy and jameis. The difference: teddy can make throws in messy pockets, he moves up and manipulates the pocket like a pro very good at evading pressure while maneuvering the pocket Winston isn't there yet though, he throws from A LOT of clean pockets We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:You'll get better value taking Troy Niklas in the 2nd round than wasting a 1st rounder at any point for Ebron. He drops too many. Not sure you can trade down much further and get Mack. I could see Oakland, Atlanta or Tampa snagging him. And he's going to be a stud. Quote:I commend that, however it remains to be seen if he can handle that at the NFL level. The lights on him, he HAS to stay straight, would be a fool not to. I think you're high on Bridgewater. In a narcotic kind of way. You are describing Andrew Luck. If every scout and GM looked at Teddy and saw Luck, this would be a no brainer. I don't see that. They say almost to a man however, that he is the most NFL ready. The most ready to come in and play. But how much do they improve once they are in the league? I feel Johnny has a higher ceiling once he is taught to step up in the pocket more. He took off too easily in college where his rare physical gifts got him out of trouble. I feel his early career may be a little rocky (similar to Favre's), but if he can tweak his game a little to allow plays to develop before he flees the pocket, he could be a great one.
Only a chump boos the home team!
Quote:I think Bridgewater could be a top 2-3 qb in the league I'm SHOCKED by that assessment from you. ![]() |
