Really? My perception of Brady (especially in the early part of his career) was of someone with the +2 mentality. But it's not like I was paying that close of attention.

Physicality was never part of Brady’s makeup or game execution. Look up his combine picture. 

Brady’s secret to his success and longevity is smarts and technique. He executes quickly and precisely. Plus the fact Belichick always kept a wall in front of him.

When I say "gym rat", I don't mean someone who works out in the weight room, I'm talking about somebody who constantly practices and hones their craft. From dawn to dusk and then some. Just dedication. I think Brady was that guy just because of the reason you mentioned, he didn't have a lot of natural physical talent.

Yup the secondary/defense wasn't able to play any press coverage, everything was off coverage and they weren't allowed to break on the ball.

We should get a much better look next week.

On one hand, it's good to give the offense a head start over the defense because they need to get into a rhythm, on the other hand it's got to be so frustrating for those DBs to not be able to do their job fully.

I’ve noticed that as well.  Seemed like he had all day to let things develop.  Pitch and catch.  I’m sure TL will be fine.  May take a year or so before he’s the guy we all want him to be.  At least help is on its way!
