He's more generous with the information he provides about them and the players than some of the other local reporters. First thing I've really hated about the Urban Meyer era so far.

I'm glad we can at least follow it this way. They cheated us with this "broadcast" of the scrimmage. For some reason Urban has been more on the secretive side with a lot of these practices. He didn't have the media attend many of them in OTAs. I do remember Gardner's trainer mentioning that and saying something like the media was allowed to attend almost all of them in the past.

Not even a padded walkthrough. Very disappointed. I get that a scrimmage is just a glorified practice but usually they put pads on and at least try to somewhat simulate a game-like atmosphere. This isn't any different from a regular practice. Why advertise I differently?

It's the fact they advertised streaming a scrimmage (which in the past regimes has been more than whatever they're doing today) and then didn't show anything except Sexton and Bucky talking... And a lot of breaks.

Just call it practice with fan attendance and I would've slept in.

What in the hell is going on with Henderson?

He has his first practice of training camp yesterday, and is now out for personal reasons?!?

My best guess is that guys that haven't practiced much recently aren't going to be out there? Allen, Chark, and Henderson are all out if I read right.

Personal reasons always seemed like a cheap way to give no reason to me.
But perhaps CJ has a family issue going on which is more important than this bogus fake scrimmage anyway.

I'll begin to worry if he isn't in the lineup for preseason games.
