Not even a padded walkthrough. Very disappointed. I get that a scrimmage is just a glorified practice but usually they put pads on and at least try to somewhat simulate a game-like atmosphere. This isn't any different from a regular practice. Why advertise I differently?

CJ Henderson is OUT today. Henderson is missing today’s scrimmage Bc of Personal reasons

What in the hell is going on with Henderson?

He has his first practice of training camp yesterday, and is now out for personal reasons?!?

I'm not sure what's going on with CJ Henderson. If he can practice he needs to, because like you mentioned he's only been at one of them for this training camp. I'm also concerned about DJ Chark, whose injury might be worse than they are letting on.

He doesn't now and hasn't ever wanted to be here. He's been unprofessional from the moment he was drafted and we're seeing a blooming Ramsey situation right in front of us. Better get him shipped off somewhere else for whatever we can get for him before we get another PR blackeye.

So he would be ready to practice yesterday in an intense scrimmage but not today in a glorified walkthrough?

If he were injured, I could see that.

But he's been missing practice for two weeks.

What personal could he have not handled during the time he was out?

Sounds like Trevor had a pretty good scrimmage with three TD's, and no interceptions. I also read that he had a 99 field drive, that resulted in a TD:

It also sounded like Treadwell did a nice job today. He caught some good passes by Trevor and also Gardner. Reports were also saying that Wingard was being bit rough (especially considering they aren't in pads) and was popping teammates probably harder than he should:

We just got some more information about DJ and his injury:

Jamal St. Cyr on Twitter: "DJ Chark had surgery for a minor break in his hand. Meyer says he will be ready for the 1st game." / Twitter

Hopefully he will heal up well and be okay.

Hmmm....I don't like the sound of that lol. I know some people think he doesn't want to be here, one reason because he didn't have the biggest reaction to being drafted by the Jags. He seems pretty reserved and quiet. And I think that's fine and in many cases a good thing TBH. That being said regardless of him having a more reserved personality or not, he does need to show up to work if he is able. It isn't good that he's already missing time like this before the regular season has even begun. He needs to get reps in at practice especially with new coaching staff and system.

No, it's based on watching his actions for the last 14 months. He's dealing with the personal issue of not wanting to be in Jacksonville and it causes him to miss games, skip practice, and lack heart. And Urban Meyer knows it.

I know you're not a fan of good defense and I wanted Wirfs but Henderson is a great corner and a building block for this defense if he's healthy and wants to play. Not sure what's going on with him personally though

You have zero evidence to suggest he’s a “great corner”.

I would love a great defense and Urban seems to be doing a good job of assembling one (except I wish they signed Lawson).
