We go into Afghanistan and convince people to help us by being interpreters and serving other duties which put them at direct risk from Taliban retaliation. We tell them not to worry, we will defeat the Taliban and bring these allies and their families to America, once we have accomplished our mission. Well, instead we pull out of the country, break our promises about bringing these allies to America and in just about a week, the Taliban has seized the most of the country. We basically left most of these people there to die. They help us and we stab them in the back. This kind of behavior is what created the Taliban in the first place. I love this country, but I can see why many foreigners hate us. We tend to look at the United States with a limited view. If you look at the big picture, things aren't so rosy. We do what benefits us and sometimes that means lying and manipulation. It's not pretty, but freedom and luxury as we have it, comes at a price.

Let's be very clear here. There is no WE. The Biden administration left them there to die.

Trump made the decision to pull out and Biden did nothing to help the Afghani people who helped us. Both could've set things in motion to bring those interpreters and other people who helped us, to this country and they didn't. There is plenty of blame to go around. Now all those fancy military weapons we gave to the Afghan military are under control of the Taliban and will probably be used against our soldiers at some point.

Trumps decision to pullout has nothing to do with the exit strategy implemented by this administration. They literally ignored the IC on this one.

Yeah, Don't conflate the two, O-line. Trump wasn't perfect, but you think his ego would let this go down that way? Dude would have been dropping bombs on the Taliban months ago.

I rarely watch the news, but wanted to watch Biden's address to the nation since this is such a enormous event, and I decided to flip on CNN to see how they would respond to his speech and just their comments on the event in general. I was also working during the time so just happened to have CNN on for several hours after his address. Just about everything I heard was critical of Biden. Both his plan (or lack there of) of pulling out of Afghanistan and his address to the nation. The Whitehouse press also continued to put pressure on some of the other guys answering questions, basically asking them if this was a planning failure or an intelligence failure or both.

I was quite surprised.

Me as well. I don’t know if it’s because the situation is so bad they can’t cover it up or if this is the beginning of a campaign to get Biden to step down in order to get Heels Up in the Oval Office. Another unmitigated disaster, but she checks off their ideological and label boxes and that’s all that matters.

We know how dishonest they are so we can be sure this reporting isn’t motivated by a sudden journalistic consciousness.

Bidens usefulness is nearing its expiration date and the MSM has received the bat signal from the powers that be.

Stuff I've read and rarely reported on shows we were always wasting our time and money. Heard some stuff from people but not sure how embellished it was but basically confirmed in their actions.

No fighting age men should have been on any plane. Either fight for your country, land or you live with the consequences. When you leave instead of fighting after all the previous stories that have been told of how stupid, cruel, perverted the ones in the army, it just proves they will never be free.

Try this in the US and every home owner with a gun is defending their land and their neighbors.

She is unqualified to hold the position. With the way she has ducked her assignments, I can't even imagine this beast making critical decisions for our country.

That piece of cowardly [BLEEP] said it was Afghanistan's fault they fell. As if that little [BLEEP] has ever been in a fight in his entire cowardly pathetic life.

What a coward. I wish that factory worker had taken that piece of garbage on his offer to go outside and delivered one swift punch to his [BLEEP] adams apple and ended his miserable existence for the rest of us.

Biden is already being controlled by the same people that would control a Harris presidency, so they are nothing but crooked figureheads anyway.

Sorry... it's just disgusting that 10 years of Special Forces attempting to make the tribes fight in cohesion being thrown away because Biden is a coward really bothers me.

Dozens of Green Berets died trying. Each one of them is a million times greater than Biden could ever dream of being in his nastiest wet dreams

Biden has decades of DC experience so he’s not as easily manipulated.

Harris is stupid and inexperienced. She’ll look like an entrant in the Westminster Kennel show.

Seeing that angry, liver spotted, geriatric, brain dead lifelong politician up there spewing his angry blame was frustrating for the entire world to see.

Some of the tribes care and will protect their land with their lives. Unfortunately most of the leadership in the government and cities is used to and fine with the corruption, that also goes down to many of the men in the army. There are reports of leadership being paid off to surrender and basically leaving the men who wanted to fight to either die for flee. When you see things all your life and view those as normal, you lose any will to change. You cannot force people to change. As long as they are allowed to exist and keep the small power they have, the leaders continue to just hand over the keys to the next "conqueror". They did it with the Americans and now the Taliban. The tribal leaders

As much as I disagree with Biden and how the military leaders structured and implemented the withdraw, at the end of the day it doesn't look like a single shot hit anyone in the invasion. They are firing now but unless everyone is not showing the bodies, they did not kill a bunch of soldiers. Americans and other soldiers died to kill terrorist and yet in the end, nothing changed. The military leaders where not willing to go and do the job correctly. They were too focused on legal sop and rules to actually win. The tribal leaders know its only temporary, it always has been, the land and the people do not want to change enough. They know the conqueror will fail and leave and they will continue on.
