Biden vacates DC as Afghanistan, immigration crises accelerate

Just because democrats cheapened the impeachment process, while subsequently undermining their own credibility, doesn't mean Republicans need to.

Mikesez's justifications for impeachment listed above are hyperbolic, but prodding for reaction is all he has. However, the basic premise of his argument is correct. Impeaching presidents simply for ineptness would mean every single president since Washington would be eligible. Biden is not smart and he's surrounded himself with people who are more concerned with how people identify themselves than actual governing. Stupid and incompetent does not rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Let's not perpetuate emotive childish democrat irrationality. If Republicans believe they are fundamentally better for the country, why would they copy the idiotic antics of the opposing party?

Do you think Joe should be impeached for this?  What kind of precedent would that set?

THEY IMPEACHED TRUMP OVER A PHONE CALL!!

I didn't hear you defend him.. get out of here with your partisan hack job bs.

A phone call where he asked for Ukraine to announce a prosecution of either Joe or Hunter Biden.
If there was probable cause of wrongdoing, why didn't Trump's own DoJ announce an investigation into it?

See? none of that happened, as was proven. But Americans WERE KILLED because of Biden and his administration, that is a fact.

I said the same thing a few posts earlier. I feel the same way, but I won't remain silent about the left's double standards. Mikesez is actively supporting Trump's impeachment while simultaneously calling for others to be reasonable about Biden's actions. It would be one thing if it was just his opinion and he was an outlier, but he isn't. He speaks what the left tells him to think. I can't stand this kind of hypocrisy. This is why we end up with people on the right who are beginning to lean into their emotions.

Agreed. Quid pro quo is destructive and diversionary. The right needs to check themselves. This won't be Biden's first major blunder. He's doing more for the Republican cause than any misguided impeachment posturing.

I’m definitely not calling for impeachment, Harris would be just as bad, if not worse! I’m just laughing at the tap dancing that’s going on for why it shouldn’t be used now.  Big Grin

The right can't continue to check themselves with out a redirect from the left. I think the sentiment on the right is that the left is allowed to have a double standard, which gives them a leg up in almost every way. Why should the right be principled if the left won't? We have to walk that line between holding ourselves to a standard while demanding the left do the same. If not, we may as well just duke it out. The erosions of the standards is my biggest fear. I think it's more likely to become entrenched if it's a slow, evolving process.

Trump was impeached twice for two very different incidents.
We had a lot of back and forth about the first one, a lot of you very unreasonably thought there was probable cause to investigate a Biden, even though Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr didn't think so.
We didn't discuss the second impeachment as much.
How do you justify a President inciting a riot against Congress?

Also I take offense at you guys saying I only think what I'm told to think. Just because I reach a similar conclusion doesn't mean I didn't think for myself. I could accuse you of the same thing with your similar conclusions.

Good Grief... Trump was impeached because he pissed off the ruling class, nothing more. And he didn't incite squat, if he had, believe me they would have him in prison by now.

Popular belief evolves as well. Even though it can be arduous and disheartening at times, sticking to the high ground is always the best policy and the one which pays off in the end. For example, look at the MSM. While they are part and parcel of the left, their credibility continues to wane. Biden and company, along with their suffering PR wing (MSM) are demonstrating exactly why corrupted standards are only good for temporary gain. To wit: Defund the Police advocates calling 911 for help. People may rail against the system, but they always flock to abiding standards.

Of course he pissed off the ruling class.  No one gets impeached unless they piss off the ruling class.  The question is, was the ruling class justified to be pissed off? And the answer is of course yes, because Trump was violating the constitution and trying to be ruler for life.

Supposedly he had nothing to do with this, they just knew where he was so they took some action.

They may be trying to start a war again. If we officially go to war, Biden is safe and can't be removed. Not sure on the 25th during war time but not much can be done during war time.

I find it odd they haven't released the names of the 2 terrorists they killed. I don't believe this even happened and is the administration trying to save some face for the killing of 13 military members.

Our heroes were returned to American soil and Dover AFB today.

Nobody from the Biden White House attended.
