The fact that some of y'all can just shrug off the injury as if we'll be just fine cause we have Robinson and whatever else just proves how bad of a pick it was in the first place. We were NOT in the position to be taking luxury picks at any point in the draft, much less the first round.

I hope so as well, but the biggest difference between the two, besides age, is the time frame between surgeries. MJD had his injury on Oct 21st against the Raiders. He went over 2 months before he got surgery. The longer those things linger, the worse they usually get. ETN should be getting his surgery ASAP, which should make a big difference.

A foot surgeon on Reddit was saying the same thing. Quicker the better.

Very true.

And this type of injury is, even after fully recovered, poses long-lasting issues like arthritis/tendonitis/pain due to the weight bearing nature of the foot. The good thing is that Etienne is young and got the surgery ASAP to avoid further damage to the foot.

Let's hope he makes a speedy and successful recovery - and does not get hampered down by this, or any other injury, for the remainder of his career.

Great deal for both teams. Pats had a surplus of RB's with the emergence of Rhamondre Stevenson and the Rams needed the depth. I think Michel will be a major contributor for the Rams. He was really misused in New England.

A former 1st round pick, just 26 years old, in good health...traded for two 3rd day picks. That shows the lack of value in 1st round RBs.

And was moved because a 4th round pick is outshining him

Just amazes me that there is example after example of why using big assets on rbs is such a waste but people remain in denial.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

The surgery went well. He's looking at an four month rehab period now. Hopefully he'll be strong and ready for 2022.
