Blind faith? It's true with any coach at that level. It's true with coaches at the collegiate level. You do know they're watching at every single practice, right? People here are basing their ideas of players on what reporters write. Reporters are at the same practices but don't see nearly as much as the coaches. Unlike reporters the coaches also know the players' assignments so know who did what they're supposed to or not.

We are basing our opinion on watching Dewey play in the NFL and his performance thus far this year is not better than it was pre-Urbz. He bad and you suckered.

Exactly what has Meyer done to prove that he can even judge NFL talent at all? This isn't College where he could get by on having the best talent on the field every game. He hasn't done jack [BLEEP] in the NFL to prove to anybody that we should just take whatever he does as greatness, or anything even close to it.

Tell me how he got to have the best talent available? He could recruit mostly anyone he wanted so he got the best ones available. You see, it's not like he recruited scrubs because he knew who the best ones were. Why do you think he wouldn't be able to identify talent at the NFL level?

He is getting older but his production hasn't fell off and he is still a veteran dangerous slot guy

I know Wingard is disliked by most here but if he's starting it's because he's better than Cisco.

it's not the ONLY reason possible, Meyer may also favor starting vets and working the rooks in gradually. I'm not going to call the season a waste because of who gets the nod in week 1.

Winger isn't the future and everyone knows it, coaching staff included. Give it time, it will work itself out. Pretty confident in saying that if we lose Sunday, that the loss won't be something that can be pinned squarely on Winger's back, we got holes all over.

The Danny Amendola who went to TTU, is 35 years old, and has never cracked 700 yards in a season even though he had the luxury of playing with Brady and Stafford?

The point is that Amendola shouldn't strike fear in anyone. He's average and becomes below average when he has a bad QB. If the Jags can't stop Tyrod Taylor and Amendola, they are in for a very long season.
