Nothing's impossible, but they both seem extremely unlikely today.  As children we were taught to ask our parents where they were when they heard JFK had been shot.  Our kids will be taught to ask us similar questions about 9/11.  It won't be forgotten for at least 100 years, if not 200.

Who would've thought in just 3 decades I would've lived through the largest terrorist attack on our nation, a great recession and almost complete collapse of the economy, and a global pandemic (which you could argue may have also been a terrorist attack and was worse than 9/11 and may also lead to another recession)?

I'm sure something else will happen., and we already have a member of congress calling it some people who did some things.  So, you just never know.

The only way that would happen is if we fail to teach our kids about it, or if other, more terrible events happen that make 9/11 seem irrelevant.

Does either seem likely to you?

A much better choice. Thank you.

Don't talk to me. Please, just don't.

If you ask the newer generation, you’ll get the reply “JFK was AFK”.  Not all will get that. But it’s pretty damn funny.  It was a gamertag I saw.  It made me laugh.  Thought I’d share.

Well said.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

What does that have to do with nothing happening being worse than 9/11?
