Would be awesome if lambo could straighten things out again. Rooting for him, but he needs to be on IR for the time being.

It felt like the type of situation that it was beat for both parties to move on. With Wright needing some time to regroup. It looks like Wright took the first step in getting back on track, in landing the opportunity with the Jaguars. Being that Wright got another opportunity as soon as he did after his struggles likely signifies that he has plenty of upside potential.

In the meantime, we need a decent kicker. There are some pretty good ones out there. I don't want Matthew Wright kicking for us at all. I trust him less than I trust Lambo right now.
Im expecting a win against the bengals hoepfully
So hopefully that match is also a turning point for lambos form atm

I prefer my kickers to have strong legs. His NFL long is only 46 yards and his career long in college was only 50 yards. That seems pretty weak. Let's be clear - if Wright can't make a thing over 35 yards but is automatic below that, he'd have scored more points than Lambo so far this season.
Like Sampson of old, once Lambo lost his hair he's lost his talent.

I'd rather an accurate kicker under 50 than a kicker that can make 50+ kicks but isn't so accurate on your mediate kicks like Myers was for us We show less advertisements to registered users. In addition to what you mentioned, the confidence level of a Kicker can easily carry over to the team as a whole. Including, to the Coaching Staff. We show less advertisements to registered users. Even though its not much, our new kicker Wright played well making the PATs as expected of him.
It sucks that we've fallen to this point where we gasp every time our kicker is called but I hope we find consistency at that position with Wright. |
